What concept by Polyphony Digital would you like to see in GT5?

Looks like a mechanical version of a crab or scorpion, just the sort of thing we might find as a concept in GT, especially being Japanese.

I can't wait to drive the Tesla Model S

Currently this is the best car in the world because it doesn't cause pollution and it's the worlds first Pure electric car to be mass produced, the only other company that can beat Tesla's Model S is non-other than......Tesla lol.

EV's are the future and to heck with all the DEA Cars (Destroying Earth's Atmosphere Cars)

It sure is pretty, not sure if it is fun to drive being electrically powered, but as Tesla seems to be confirmed i agree with you this is the one i'm also looking forward to, much more than those elise-based models.

I believe there is a place for all existing and even more revolutionary concepts.

Why not include a solar panel car like this:

Or pressured air concepts, there is some improvement possible on this:

or...

This thread is open to all "concepts we would like to see", whatever we believe, like or can handle.

Sorry if my words seem to imply electrical or engine options other than petrol should not be included or suggested.
This is not the case, although i do prefer engines which make a sound personally, i'm open minded to anything leftfield or revolutionary.

May i suggest this blast from the past, the Chrysler Turbine Car which like the fuel-cell Honda today was given to selected members of the public to test it in real life situations.
Apparantly the Mexican President was given one which he used to run on Tequilla, and i'm not making this up.

No need anymore to invent a Polyphony Digital concept Peugeot with this SR1:

It's almost exactly like the Nike One 2022 all over again.

Indeed, they must have been using the same futuristic car design guide book! It's a couple of years old but I hadn't seen it until recently.

How about this concept from 2008, it's a collaboration between Honda and Hot-Wheels to create a crazy ( in a good way ) retro-futuristic race-car.
It's so far out i find it hard not to like it. ;)

Miles better, in my opinion, than the Nike one...

I had asked if they could ask Kaz directly in Germany last week, but they did not come up with new info on prototypes.

Good to see the Citroen GT Concept will still be in.

The old Jaguar seems a prototype, since it never really raced.
Why not a new Jaguar prototype, for their 75th anniversary, I already like the power increase in the Jaguar XKR 75, why not go further in the virtual world building on: this XF10

I really really hope not. Do you know how electricity is made and what is needed to make it?

Well put Dave 👍

Personally I think the future will be bio fuels... for example bio gas

Scirocco GT24.. won 2 class wins in that Nurburgring (Same race Kaz ran)

Someone with taste, yay! :D I love it.

OT-> Vince, I'm sorry but the Jaaaaggggg XF10 looks like a squashed Subie Tribecca. :indiff:

BT-> I'd like to see a PD's version of the Toyota pod concept:

^ This car was a no-show in GT4, I'd like to drive this in GT5. :dopey:

The Ford Nucleon was a nuclear-powered concept car developed by Ford Motor Company in 1958. The design did not include an internal-combustion engine, rather, the vehicle was to be powered by a small nuclear reactor in the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle featured a power capsule suspended between twin booms at the rear. The capsule, which would contain a radioactive core for motive power, was designed to be easily interchangeable, according to the performance needs and the distances to be travelled.

I would like to see a Polyphony designed concept which would be a basic chassis with 4 or 5 different choices of PD designed bodies ( or designed by different well known designers or amateurs in a GT-academy type of competition ) and the choice of several engine/drivetrain options from the list of cars in GT5.:)

I would love to see the Ford GT90 Concept in the game done in a similar livery to the GT40 seen in prologue.

So really a different body on the car, could be an idea for the livery engine, even allow body changes. Fear that we will have to wait for the PS6 to have the calculation power of shades, although the damage model now must do something similar.

The GT90 was for sale last year, I never was able to find what happened to it.

An all carbon, maybe longtail, McLaren MP4-12GTR concept. To race with the Zonda R.

Do you mean like this one I found on Autoblog?

mp4ggtrlead.jpg

this while the original has not been delivered yet.

I looked at the specifications of the road going one again, does not seem like it will need tweaking to be mind blowing.

A Ferrari 458 racer with similar modifications would also be appreciated. :)

Yep, that's pretty much exactly what I had in mind :) A longtail concept would be the most tasty though.
