What did you do in FH6 today?

Knew I wanted to recreate the Hot Wheels livery on the Starion as soon as it was announced. As luck would have it, I found it on Saturday so I could work from the physical model.

Bit of poetic license as I replaced HW Rally with Ralliart, but I do intend to put the HW logo on the rear flank.

To my chagrin, the Nissan R390 doesn't count for the seasonal speed trap, and neither the Drift Formula RX-8 for the drift zone. Edit: And apparently neither my GT-R Black Edition, is that speed trap borked?

I found out the hard way that all Formula Drift cars are considered US cars. I used the Mad Mike Mazda for the drift zone.

Picked up a Jaguar D-Type at the dealership and put my McLaren 620R on the auction block to see if I can get anything back for it.

Flipped few Dodge Darts. Had too re-auction them few times and probably lost value on most of them, but 2 went for 10+mil, so I'm pretty happy about it.

I did all the new Drift Attack challenges in the Collection Journal to get the new XJ-S FE. I also picked up the standard XJ-S and turned it into the restomod of my dreams.

The more I play the online racing portion of the game, I notice there are actually quite a lot of rammers, many of which are high level prestige 4 or 5 players which makes it worse because newer players will think this is how they should win a race.

I started recording all my online racing and reporting the rammers as I encounter them. Reported 3 today.

Finally bought the 2024 Land Cruiser, and enjoying a change of pace doing slower off-road trails.

I managed to get at least 2 of every FE car except for the Mazda RX-3 FE- which will pop up at the Daikoku parking area eventually- and the new Jaguar XJS FE- which I will probably end up having to pay the full 20 million for but I’ll keep looking for a cheaper one for the time being. I’m very glad that I got my second AE86 FE before the buyout limit changed in the AH, although I’ve seen 2 or 3 pop up for 13k recently but I wasn’t quick enough to win any of them.

I also want to get another Alfa Romeo TZ2 as well but I have yet to see any in general in the AH so that will most likely be another 20 million if I ever see one, but I’m at 175 million credits right now so that won’t be an issue. I guess since it’s a pain to photograph enough cars to get one that most people who have one probably want to keep it.

I usually stop keeping duplicates after I have 3 of a car so that my garage doesn’t get totally filled up but I got a 4th Exige WTAC to flip but I can’t seem to bring myself to sell it since it’s such a ridiculous yet cool car and a blast to drive. I might try turning one into a rally car and see how that goes.

Today was Star Trek Day and the 60th anniversary of the original series debuting on NBC in 1966. I saw this Pride version of the IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) symbol on Bluesky. So I had a go at recreating it. I think it came out pretty well.

No such luck. But I did offload my Bentayga for a few million.

And did some early morning C-class street racing in my '68 Mustang against Unbeatable bots.

Yeah, I got a notice in My Rivals for the Rainbow Bridge Descent. I couldn’t get within 15 seconds of you.

I’ve filled in the mastery trees for my Aston Martins and I’m working my way through the Audis now.

I also had more fun with the two new XJ-Ss. I thought what’s more 70s than a half-vinyl roof on a big two-door? So I put one on the front of my standard XJ-S, and one on the back of my XJ-S FE. I like it.

I did manage to find a second XJS FE for only 11 million in the AH so I have 2 of every FE car except for the Mazda RX-3 FE. I also grabbed the first Alfa TZ2 I saw for 20 million, although I saw a decent number of Alfa’s pop up later on but it would probably take a very long time to find one for less so I’m not worried about it. I did about half the playlist and got the Ginetta. I spent a while in the AH flipping cars and now I’m up to 238 million credits. I’m not exactly sure what my plan is to do with this absurd amount of money, but I’ll probably end up buying at least 3 of each of the notebook and playlist exclusive cars since I have 2 of all of them except for the ones that are rewards this series.

Received a 2016 GT350 on my weekly Super, which was followed directly by a 2020 GT500 on a regular wheelspin. How serendipitous, especially as they were in chronological order.

Today I did lots of activities in and around Drift Attack at Shimanoyama (laps and photos) and got to 20 seasonal points for the Ginetta. I also spent more time with the W1 (photo session, to be posted) and it's probably the best FH car ever! Its cruising speed is a casual 200 mph, and it blows by speed zones/traps almost casually!

I spent a lot of today hot lapping Legend Island Circuit with Car Pass cars I had mostly ignored. I drove the 40th Anniversary Skyline GT-R for the first time today and was surprised to see it was a 4-door.

I took the W1 in stock form to the Speed Attack at Legend Island. The difference between sport/track mode is not aesthetic; in track mode I'm about 7 seconds faster than sport mode, which also tends to understeer under heavy breaking and is slower to turn in general. I will probably buy another W1 and upgrade for better times.
