Yesterday, experiment 1 at the 30 minute Le Mans race (PP700) with the engine-swapped Alpine of 2017 was a dismal failure due to really poor tyre choice and sudden weather change.

Today, experiment 2 was an exciting event right through. The weather was not as dramatic today, however victory required correct tyre choices and close attention to the Fuel Mixture setting, with multiple adjustments during the final two laps. FUN!

Looking at do I really want to collect the other six colors of the Supra in the Power Pack. I’d like to run them versus the three colors of the NIMO R34, Mine’s GT-R and multiple colors of the Amuse S2000. I can buy all the colors of the S2000 right now. The NISMO and Supra will need any additional 27,000,000 Cr., which I should be able to acquire by this time next week.

Or

Just do a Best Motoring versus with the red Supra GT I was gifted, Mine’s Skyline, one Amuse S2000, one NISMO GT-R, one 400R.

Finished the day flipping through the Ferrari Museum and this little beauty caught my eye. Time to reminisce...

In the 1960s, in the pits at Bathurst, I was allowed to get VERY close to Spencer Martin's red 250LM. Martin was a regular on Australian tracks with this car back then.

Certainly a very beautiful car which reached spectacular speeds down Conrod Straight back in those days, prior to the introduction of the kink known as The Chase.

The only jarring feature of this car was the paint quality, which I could only describe as "orange peel" because of the rough finish.

This was consistent with how many 1950s–60s competition cars were finished, especially when speed-to-track mattered more than mirror perfection.

If it ever finds its way into a Gran Turismo game, I wonder if it will be rendered with perfectly smooth paint 🤔

Cleared the America branch of the Power Pack. I was laser focused on the Daytona slipstream race. Just have the GTI branch left, then it's on to the enduros...

Started on the GTI branch in the Power Pack. I'll work on finishing the Porsche part to get the Rally 911 later tonight.

Had a blast in the rallycross weekly event. SO much so I ran it three times and watched the replay twice, lol. Pulled down off that buzz by running the Ferrari 296 event...does this thing even HAVE tires on it stock? Switched to RH's and it was an easy win but, damn, those factory donuts are gonna get someone killed.🤣

Did the same....

Actually This past couple of days, I did quite a bit:

1) the rally cross is damn hard with the controller
But in VR it is such a fun challenging And enjoyable experience... I tried to complete it with the controller, but I failed with so many attempts, I thought I really could do it, but it ain't easy.... But in VR, you have so much more better control, in the end I only took be a couple of attempts in VR.

2) went on retrieve 16 extra menus that I had previously completed a while back, but never taken the rewards

3)
With over 18 tickets, my kids and I enjoyed spinning the roulette for those tickets. And we were able to get over 12 Millions in credits and prizes...

4) with that amount of cash, I went on a shopping spree and bought 15 cars I still didn't have:

5)
Was determined to complete with the controller the Sunday cup 400 in the weekly challenge
So many times I came close, finishing 2 second for over 90 miles of driving with 440PP cars...
I got so frustrated, I hoped on the VR and completed it within 2 trys...

After that
6)
The Ferrari 296 event is doable with Sport Soft on VR2.
I felt like cheating driving on Racing, because I could tell even the computer was having fun struggling on non racing tires. So the be on equal footings, I didn't want to win with Racing tires, I switched to SS and it was enjoyable still.

Did the European Oldtimers races in the GTI branch of the Power Pack. I got scared when the game crashed after the Sardegna race, but thankfully it still counted. Just got the GT ONE races left, then I'll take a break before starting on the enduros.

Continued working on the 2025 WEC Vista AF Corse liveries for the 296 GT3 that I started last weekend. I'll probably release them tomorrow, I just have to put the finishing touches to them.

Living the Millionaire's car enthusiast dream:

Drove in VR2, two English cars doing lap times on Laguna, both on with Sport Soft tires:
First with the Jag D-type
And
Second with the Aston Valkyrie

I needed credits so I ran the World Tour 700 at Le Mans with my reliable Suzuki VGT = 825,000 cr (a surprising clean race bonus), that also covered the daily mileage for a 4-star ticket that earned me the latest Honda Civic, so nice. Then, I purchased the Ford GT '17 and reached collector level 48.

Later I will try the GP race at Gilles Villeneuve to complete the weekly events.

Logged in for the six-star parts ticket and won a stage 5 weight reduction kit for the Jaguar F-Type R. Plus my four-star daily workout ticket netted me an engine, specifically an LT5 from the C7 ZR1, and there are a lot of cars compatible with that engine, so I’d say those are some nice prizes indeed!

Plus I did some laps for the online time trial featuring the Escpace F1 @ Yas Marina and made it into silver range, so I think it’ll last. I think my time was specifically something like 1:52.0xx, which is great because I have work today until 8pm, at which point I’ll likely be too tired to do a solid job driving in GT.

Dropped my DR back down to C all because I ❤️ daily races at my favourite tracks, one of them being Nurburgring..
