Finished up the last 2 weekly races, and the last one was rather enjoyable albeit a bit easy.

Bought a few legendary cars, namely the Delta HF Integrale Rally Car '92, Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette '84 and the Toyota GT-One (TS020) '99.

And with the Nissan, I completed the Extra Menu No. 34: Nissan Motorsports and received a 6* roulette ticket.

I dropped my PSN subscription, only game i was playing online is/was GT7 and i just got fed up with the pricing i guess..
I don't know what i expected to happen, but from what i can see i only lost the actual online part, i get the weekly challenges and time challenges..

So what i do now is race Sophy, i take a car and try to beat Sophy, and i realized something the difficulty is really all about the car/track combination. For example, GT-ONE at Dragons on Pro is a real challenge. I thought, maybe naive, that Sophy would adapt to the car you were driving..

For what it's worth, the itch for racing is getting scratched and the drivers aren't dirty :)

Did my first Sport races last night... 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
First off, I'm back to GT from 2011 (GT6). Working through all the licenses and races (you know, the general progression through GT7). I'm around 8500 miles of driving.
Picked up a PSN Essentials subscription and hopped in to a Sport race in Tokyo with the AMG. OMFG... I forgot first how much grip goes down in on-line, but that is easily manageable. What I mostly forgot is the f&*^ing bad driving. Corner 1 on lap 1 is just carnage.. My bad for hoping this whole "Sport" thing that PD rants on about means something, lol.

Did 4 races and was able to survive corner 1 once. The rest is just people slamming into you and with total disregard. Just GT on-line races being GT on-line races.

Oh well, hoping that progressing somewhat in the Sport ranking system breaks me out of the clown parade I'm currently buried in!!
I'm currently E/B and each race my B goes up. (edit: just checked and I'm D/B now and B is close to full. Hoping that racing gets cleaner :) )

Finally got back to doing offline races, finished wtc800 lago maggiore and wtc900 trial mountain ... I was lazy so I used Honda SF 19 and 962C , got to 91% , I think I have 26 more races to finish but most are long ones (most wtc 800 ) :/

Oh ye, I also finished all drift missions after I finished all drag race missions last week...

Managed to grab 1st on Spa 10 lap custom race against Sophy 2.0 on Pro difficulty using Gr. 3 cars.

Considering my skill, I'll take this as an improvement. Those Sophy drivers love divebombs though.

did 10 laps lemans race, I think it was last race of wtc 900... I entered with Super Formula because I don't have prepared car for 900 or Prototypes and than I saw it's supposed to be 24 hour le mans thing so I was expecting night without having lights but neither night or rain happened so it was pretty chill track x car combo to relax ..

Also I finished final rally challenge race on Eiger reverse 12 laps with Lancia Delta Gr B , it was kinda easy and I saw there's actually Circuit experience for reverse too, and it's also great combo w Alpine car and easiest Circuit Experience I did so far.. All in 1st try for 1.2 mil.

btw that Delta Gr B is definitely my favorite and most used cars, I did around 5.500 km on it which is a lot since I did 26.000 in total.

Drove almost 600 km on Yas Marina.. With Honda SF 19, Porsche 962C, Ferrari 296 Gr3 and Ferrari F50.. I will definitely not be back to that track soon...

Btw got to 93% races won, I need to do few more WTC 700 and almost all WTC 800 races to go to 100%

Did some laps to get the daily marathon ticket.

And purchased some cars I didnt already have in the legend and used car dealerships:

I did the Time Trial at Lago Maggiore in the Alfa in Sport Mode and scored a solid silver time without too much effort - still about 0.9s from a Gold, and I don't think I have the energy for that.

I also did the WC race with the Elantra a couple of times, and won pretty comfortably - however I did the race in cockpit view, which I find more difficult, and it certainly made for a closer race.

Playing with the original Gran Turismo cars.

All cars feature racing exhaust, racing brake rotors, full custom suspension(front springs tightened to match rear springs), racing silencer.

I updated and improved my replica liveries of Max Verstappen‘s and Isack Hadjar‘s 2026 F1 cars (up to date decals, improved carbon textures and a few small fixes to get the cars to look even closer to their IRL counterparts.

I also had to replace the racing numbers since the old ones from my initial liveries got corrupted.

Having had the dreaded wheel spit out the Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM '19, I took it down to PP700 for the Le Mans WTC event.

To get below PP 700 required reducing power down to 295 HP, so it's not fast in a straight line by any stretch of the imagination. In good weather plus a little tweaking of the Fuel Map it will surely avoid pit stops.

So far I haven't managed to actually win (I'm a rubbish driver, not the car's fault), however the driving experience has been delightful. The stiction through the Porsche Curves is simply amazing. And the brakes are astounding. I just have to learn to use these advantages properly.

For some reason, I'm too frequently getting dinged for pushing the track limits in this car, and I think if I can judge that better and find another 11 seconds as well, it'll be a win for me.

I had a clearance sale of duplicates/EV's, now only the Afeela remains (until its license expires and is removed for legal reasons, one can hope). Anyways, I finished the weekly challenges with the P1 GTR in the WTC 800 race and the car roulette ticket got me the Aston Martin One-77. The daily ticket got me an awesome (not) carbon shaft. I also collected 250,000 credits from an online time challenge and I did the new one with the U9, and surprisingly I got a silver time!
