Doesn't the latest update solve this issue? I honestly haven't played much with the PP all that much.

That changes things quite a lot 😅 Now I have the dilemma of whether to restart the N24 with over 4hrs progress already...

Succeeded.😁

After many miles I was finally able to get one across the line. It may not be the cleanest, but @ 7:57.777 it's gold enough for me.👍

I started doing Human Comedy races, but decided to make it more fun so I didn't watch which are meta cars, started on that French Village circuit in Porsche 550 Spyder .. CS and FM1 .. I really send it every corner and didn't have enough fuel on last lap, I also did Deep Forrest with Lancia Delta grB , It was eating front tyres aggressively, could've maybe won.. but ranned out of fuel on last lap too 😆

spoiler; on 2nd attempt I won with Porsche quite easily on FM1 and CS without having to stop, just short shifting little bit for first 10 laps

edit: finished 2nd race out of 8 on Human comedy, I just removed aftermarket turbo from it, my front right tyre still got absolutely shredded through whole race but managed on 1 stop without needing to add fuel (fm1 all the way)..

I did weekly challenges, barely survived on Fuji without pitstop on Wet tyres.. I actually have 16 more races in single player mode to win that are actually races.. 10 WTC 800 races and 6 Human Comedy races.. It'll probably take some time .. :)

btw got 500k from weekly challenges 6* ticket

Just do the WTC800 at Fuji.
Used a 787B tuned to 799.95 PP, done the whole race on FM3 with inters and 0 pit stops.

Finished 5 races in WTC 800 and Kyoto Park Human Comedy race in Garage Civic. 5 Comedy races and 7 WTC 800 races left to finish all single player races. Bought Impreza Gr3 since I never tried it and some sema cars to complete extra menu book, got stupid Xiaomi car on 5* ticket.

Finished the weekly off on Friday 🥳 and been loving the power pack. Also today finished the red bull x2019 menu book which I had been putting off for ages didn’t think I was good enough driving the red bull but did ok it’s not that quick or scary to drive like GT6, and tried master licence got a gold lol 😝 for stop start in the wet dodge viper I’m just surprised I got a gold so gold is doable, I’ll see how I get on with it. And have 23,3 million now so just checking legendary dealership daily for the McLaren F1, Mercedes Benz w196R 55, and the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B touring for extra menu books. Going to need a good amount of credits it’s taken for ever to get 20 million.

Life, work, and other problems have conspired to make me not play GT7 as regularly as I was playing it... And at 200+ hrs I feel I've probably maxed out my experience, even if many parts of the game remain unfinished by me (PP, licenses, cafe menus, etc.)

Combined my creative writing universe so far with this and Descenders (PS4), writing down events my "character" (No. 63) discovered in a Notepad file from racing against models directed by fellow Contestants, racing driver hopefuls (earning a 3-Star Roulette Ticket in the process) and Japanese stewards who control promotion to the next Performance Point class (earning a 4-Star Roulette Ticket earlier today, but not before running into repeated problems with the disc and Wi-Fi connectivity) to taking breaks now and then on a bicycle in Descenders.

(Fun Fact: The race against the Japanese stewards on the Tokyo Expressway was inspired by a "boss" race in the 2010 Japan-only Konami arcade racing game Road Fighters 3-D (the one where at least two "bosses" race what appear to be either Toyota Alphards or Vellfires, colored white and black.).)

I just realised, after about 300 hours into the game, that slapping on racing softs + racing mods on every single car is actually a terrible idea. I am now going back and (de)tuning cars much more sensibly with sport-hards or sport mediums. The cars have much more unique characteristics now and are fun to throw around the track.

The way I approach it now is to either (1) keep a car stock, (2) "sport" tune let's say adding 1-200 HP on sport hard (3) "race" tune - maxed out upgrades on racing hard/medium. Then there's the engine swaps, but I think that slots into (3). Livery wise, for (2) I use slight decals like racing stripes and a few sponsors, for (3) it's a full racing livery.

Finished WTC 800 Catalunya race with 962C, than did 1 lap on Catalunya sport mode, which is 2 min = 1 mil.. than did sam on Trial Mountain, didn't even bother to use meta car, used Impreza Gr3, also will be 2 min = 1 mil, I just can't find myself being tryhard anymore after reaching A/S in sport mode.

After that went to check if Cappuccino I used in Directory menu is fast enough for Autopolis Human Comedy race.. It was really Human Comedy at the end because it was most boring race I've done so far, lapped 2nd for 2 laps...

That was 199 km and than I saw today I reached milestone on GT7 of doing 30.000 km

Changed oil and washed Cappuccino and 962C and that's about it...

10 races to go, 6 in WTC 800 and 4 Human Comedy

edit: finished Monza WTC800, got VGT VW from ticket, sold for 500+k.. Retuned my Lancia Delta for Tokyo and Le Mans even tho I don't even do this races 😆 washed it and changed oil... Maybe I'll squize one more race tonight in WTC and tweak some cars for races I need to do next

We start with a Falken fearsome track (bad joke lol) in the Nürburgring Nordschleife, where we see the famous Falken Motorsports green and blue livery tackle the Green Hell. Good luck to them once again in the 24H race this month!

We just came off the IMSA Laguna Seca race and witnessed the underdogs at JDC-Miller pull off the stunner in their pre-joker Porsche 963 (Laurin Heinrich was a beast). However, we also saw another form of Rexy make an appearance: Sketchy. This was a throwback from AO’s drawing boards when the Rexy livery was being conceived. Pretty neat.

Sticking with IMSA, I was excited when Manthey announced their entries for the five-race Michelin Endurance Cup this year. It was nice to see the iconic Grello come stateside and share a battle or two with the other fan-favorite Porsche: Rexy.

And with WEC returning with the Spa 6 Hours this weekend, I had to bust out the #92 The Bend Manthey car with a little rain to make it more fitting. After all, the forecast for race day calls for rain showers…should hopefully inject some more drama.

Lago Maggiore Human Comedy 1 hour race.. it took me 2 tries, couldn't focus at all, did it with Ferrari 296 gr3 at the end which I never used previously.. if someone still hasn't done it, never use RH tyres , always RM, pit every 10 laps and add fuel up to 70% ... should've been comfortable win 2nd try but I crashed few times and got few penalties, won by 6 seconds over Hizal in Impreza Gr3
