I also got a car today in the roulette, a Lexus RC F GT3 car. Second day in a row it hasn’t given me crap and rewarded me with a car!
Just saw your tagline - another Hoosier racer!

Nothing eventful today - spent an hour making up my Gulf Racing 930 Porsche and then another 30 minutes running the 30 minute endurance GT4 race Le Mans.

Made an expensive purchase.. lol

Chickened out on dropping $10.5m on an F1 GTR and bought a P1 GTR and Enzo instead. Then ran a Best Motoring style supercar race at Tsukuba - don't regret it
How do you like that P1 GTR? I was contemplating on getting it. Haha I've been buying so much cars lately lol

Posting today, for a change. I missed abusing Blofeld at Tokyo, so I threw the Tomahawk around for a while. Rose was getting grumpy about how many incidents there were with the other racers, as I occasionally forgot this was a race with other cars on the track and kind of wrecked them. I wanted a change of pace anyhow, so I dragged out the Audi R8 I had toyed with a couple of weeks ago. Tuned it just a scouche and it seemed to be within a half second of the Lambo, so I gave it a try. I had to adjust to the different handling, banging a few walls with penalties, so after some schooling with it, and do overs, it was time to get serious.

I was getting better at how to push this German monster around turns, and was quickly performing up to my standard laps. The first race was going pretty good. Within the first lap, I managed to be in sixth place heading into the tunnel. I was a bit worried about fuel consumption, though the Murcielago seemed to be the gas guzzler of the litter. I was doing pretty well, though I could get nowhere near V. Gallo and Suwillo. But I had fun tangling with Igor Fraga and Mikail Hizal. Nicely aggressive but I could out turn them, and lost both of them in the curves. V. Gallo and then Suwillo pitted and I thought the race was mine, thanks to some long gearing and short shifting, until I had to pit just before lap 10. Emerging from the pits, I was greeted with the white flash of Rose's RE Amemiya streaking past. I managed to catch her, and we went back n for the rest of the race, though I couldn't seem to lose her in the curves. On the last turn going into the tunnel, she just managed to draft around me for the win. She was nice enough to let me edge up alongside her, the stinker.

I decided to keep at it, after a slight livery tweak, and did another two races after supper. This time I felt a little better with it - after slamming into the wall at the top of the ramp and restarting. As usual, I had to work my way through the pack and earn every position, with the knowledge that I might well be playing overtake tag until I could win the turn fight among the curves.

One by one, I bested them, and again with a late pit strategy of long shifting, V. Gallo and Suwillo were passed in the pits and first was mine for a while. Except it ended up being the rest of the race, as no one could catch me, so it was an anticlimactic conclusion.

You should make a video and play it faster with Benny Hill theme song behind :D
I think that's a great idea. I'll try to extract the audio from the link below.

Suggestions for tracks welcome. I'm thinking an accelerated clock would add some extra franticness. And a short track to keep the cars near each other

Did the LM grind (in a Maserati barge) and a few Sport races this evening...

I realised, as I understeered my once-fun McLaren around at the back while the field of GTRs and WRXs disappeared off ahead of me, that I didn't even really care about the position I finished. All I was doing was ticking off races towards the 50 so that I can bag the trophy and be done with it. Then, no more getting punted off the track and getting a 3 second penalty for my troubles. No more races wondering how all of the idiots in the race can possibly have maintained a top Sportsmanship Rating. No more surprise and disbelief that PD learned nothing from GT Sport.

When the trophy list first appeared pre-release, I thought the Gold in all Licence Tests would be a real long-term goal - something to chip away at gradually between all of the races and championships that were sure to be packed in to that extensive single-player campaign mode we were promised. Alas, so thin is the campaign and so few are the races that all we have to occupy us is grind - either round and round at Le Mans or splashing about in the Tokyo rain in the awful Tomahawk. So the S licence came, and then those golds; the hardest trophy to achieve was done and still we have no real campaign to keep us entertained. Still the focus is online. GT Sport 2 rolls on.

I'll grind on for a while longer, collect enough cash to buy my Three Legendary Cars (one down...) and ten of whatever's cheap enough to pass as a Firm Favourite. Then I'll increase their body rigidity, collect my Platinum trophy and look for something which doesn't disappoint with quite such startling regularity. PD have got until then to give me a reason to keep playing. Hopefully I'll get to see a full roster of championships and a sparkling recreation of Grand Valley before I depart...

Edit: So it's not all doom and gloom, here's a picture of my Gulf 86 as I slice through the field of one of today's races. Started 11th out of 12 and finished 1st - weaved my way through first corner chaos and escaped with my Clean Race bonus intact!

2 races at Suzuka, 800pp with the CLK
Easy gold.
730 with the Supra more easy gold.

With that I got my ticket of misfortune, it did not disappoint, lowest reward on the wheel secured once more..

Realized that I didn't do a single S License test.. So I bronzed them all, did need 3 tries for the Spa test..

S License achieved!
