What did you do in GT7 today?

@Michael88 Can you post your setting and strategy please?
That's easily explained, I only maxed out front and rear down force, I left the rest stock as it works really well for me. And of course I installed racing hard tires because the 700PP LeMans race requires racing tires. With the tires the car clocks in just shy of 700PP.

Strategy in the 700PP Le Mans race is also easily explained, I shift very early never revving the engine very high, for example at the two chicanes on the Mulsanne straight I stay in 3rd gear, and the Porsche corners I do all in 5th gear. Do not rev high at corner exits, take it slow and use slipstreaming.

Also, before approaching any breaking zones I lift the gas pedal and coast for 1-2 seconds, that helps with preserving fuel at very little time loss. If you do it right, which really isn't very hard to do, you'll have to only pit once, conveniently at the 4th lap when the weather changes.

You can hardly go wrong with it, I won by almost a minute and I even spun in the rain once.

Finished golding the S-Licenses. Pretty proud as a casual on controller with automatic Transmission. Now i have to lean towards Missions, which i find harder. Book 3, Mission 1, the Mercedes at Nürburgring as "The pass" seems pretty impossible to me.

Just tried it, won easily, and very fun, guess I will grind it as soon as Tokyo gets nerfed. Thanks!

I have officially reached the 100 million credit cap after lots of grinding over the past week or so. Repeating the new WTC endurance events over and over again was worth it.

Still driving around Tokyo, 8 million in the account after spending unplanned money. It's getting slightly stupid.

Bought every Ferrari from the brand dealer, noticed to late that I bought a F12 twice..

Now I have a white wide body F12 🍺

The Le Mans 30 minute race has been my favorite grind since its introduction, its easy to get the clean race bonus, the weather makes it a little unpredictable, you can use the most fun cars for it. Though I wish they had made the race at sundown, then it would have weather + low light conditions and that would be even more fun.

If you want another car that makes it really easy to win: the Alpine VGT road car. It has incredible fuel mileage, excellent handling and its a pleasure all around. Engine also sounds really aggressive and cool. You only have to detune it a little to reach the 700pp requirement.

Won some races in the Scirocco and brought my DR back up to a B after suffering majorly two weeks about in the sprinter. The racing has been far from clean though.

I also took a bunch of photos today too! Feel free to add me on PSN everyone. I don't have any online buddies to play against and share with as I'm new to PS5 and skipped PS4

I'm perfecting my ability to drive on the highway at 500 kph, dodging traffic, while watching tv. I'm down to 15:15 avg race time, still get a pesky 5 sec penalty now and then when an AI car shows up unexpectedly.

Basically just in a holding pattern until the LCD and UCD update. The daily races don't look very 'friendly'. I've seen too many times in GTS how Monza and RBR evolve during the week with a broken penalty system.

Completed the Alsace CE, then went for the 500 and 600 km/h trophies with the Tomahawk. After that I built a Honda S660 to 400 pp for the endurance race at Autopolis. I’ll save that one for the weekend.

Focused on transferring my R33 GT-R into a Calsonic themed track missile. First tuned the paintwork match the real deal. Then the decals. My goodness it looks good now with the new stance provided by full specced tune!

Then headed to Deep Forest. The tune I made in the garage beforehand worked well. Confidence was imminent. Lap after lap I improved.
Then was the turbo anti-lag test. Not done it before on any car so I didn't know what to expect. Just phenomenal performance.
After all the post launch negativity this game takes the driving to another level.
This was my first GT7 'from normal into race spec' car. It won't be the last one for sure!
The livery will be shared soon.

Decided to make my own Renault Clio Cup car today. Used specs from other sources to try and do my best to match them. Just under 600PP.

Front-wheel drive cars are quite overpowered in this game thanks to the wonky rear grip model throwing off most RWD and some AWD cars. My 600PP Integra is brilliant!

The base car for my Clio Cup car was a 2015 Clio RS Trophy.

I haven't played GT7 with a few days. I'm fedup with it for now. If I could start over without needing to create a new PSN account I would start over again but I've done all the races I'm interested in now. Which is most of the races. I have o interest in racing online nor do I have PS+ so I can't play online.

For some reason yesterday at Monza CE, I got better results with the sound totally off, weird but perhaps what I hear makes me react different to situations, I don't know but it worked lol

Realized today that GT really has a great sense of community. I love logging on and checking all my updates; there’s people posting new liveries, people who like my own, then there’s my friends who put in new record times for me to beat.

Damn, I just wish we had some sort of clan feature. Would be lovely to have a GTP page in the game with various members to compare statistics with.

Decided to do Daily Race B at Monza with the OP Atenza Gr.4. Only my second Sport Mode race ever and I achieved a grand slam. Pole position, fastest lap, win, led every lap. Helps when your lobby is low-ranked though

If this doesn't get patched tomorrow, I'll be able to hit the cap too I guess. Currently sitting at 70 mill, was at 85 but my eyes went red and spend most of them in LCD and Invitation cars.
