I put in more work for my various rally tests. Part 3 of the FWD Rally series brings us to the Autobianchi A112. Fun little car, but a bit of a handful. Still a fun time in the dirt.
Part 4 brings us to the Renault R4 GTL. Small, French, and Furious. Low on power, but great handling. Rev the nuts off of it to get the most out of it.
Then, in keeping with the classic vehicles vibe I've been going for lately. I give you the Renault R8 Gordini, which is WAY better off-road then I ever thought it would be. It's a little rocket ship. I've really fallen in love with this little French car (with the engine in the wrong place). More testing to come with this, me thinks.
Finally, I headed to Fisherman's Ranch for one of the Weekly Challenges (World Rally) with all Gr.B cars (700pp). I used my trusty Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car (642pp), and it was frankly a blood bath. The AI didn't stand a chance against the WRC beast, even on Hard Difficulty. Not sure the AI can contend with the loose stuff all that well. Probably why we haven't seen any SOPHY implementation on rally tracks.
That's it for now. More to come in the next few days.
