Just did an "experiment" in one of the Weekly Challenge races:

I will try same concept with all Gr.2

I finished the weekly events with the WTC 800 race at Tokyo Expressway. Easy win with the Ferrari 296 GT3 with 2 stops for intermediate/medium tires and fuel. The AI cars are clueless in this one. 200,000 cr, a 3-star roulette ticket for 5,000 cr, and the 6-star car ticket that earned me the Ferrari FXX K (nice).

I bought another Efini RX7. I started to do the swap for it but I didn't want to spend 1.7 mil cr on an engine so i did added a widebody and maxxed it out with the ultra high rpm turbo. Made a livery for it then took it to LeMans. I would have gotten 4 laps and had a 1 stop strategy but the rain decided I needed 2 laps. I had to go to wets at the end of lap 2 and by lap 4 the track was starting to dry out and the wets degrading rapidly but the rain comes back so I pit again and switch to inters for the last lap. Got 10k cr from 4 star ticket

I finished the weekly off, yes left till Thursday again 😱 😞 🤣, the WTC 800 race at Tokyo timed to perfection to pit for intermediate tyres, for completing the weekly got a 6 star ticket got a X2014 so sold it already had one and with stronger pp, $1.1 million 😁 and then doing a race X2014 one make dragon trail 🥳 10 laps and also found a nice red bull livery as mine was just stock yellow. Still playing when I can 😉

Did the weekly challenges last night, just in time for a fresh round after work today!

Sadly, the Sauber Mercedes GR1 is no longer available in Hagerty so I might have a go in the Alpine A220 around Le Mans instead :)

Did a run of the 700pp LeMans event with a specifically tuned C4 ZR-1 to get 825.000Cr and the daily workout (30.000Cr from a 4-star ticket), then did all the new weekly challenges. The 6-star ticket gave me a Super Formula Honda '19 while I already had one completely unused, so now I 'll have to wait for a few days, hoping to sell it for a higher price. The model I use instead is the Toyota '19, which I have tuned to no longer bounce into understeer.

I put some online time attack times with the Celica at Suzuka, that's 250,000 cr in the future, then I did the Hypercar Parade at Interlagos, and well, the Ferrari FXX K is just ridiculous. It destroyed the field in three laps and won by a 30 second margin. 95,000 cr + 100,000 cr + 5,000 cr (offensive) from the 3-star roulette ticket.

Cheesed the PowerPack Alsace 'The GTI' race by ramming the M Hizal on what must be my 30th attempt at it:

The AI desparately needs rebalancing. In fact I kind of regret buying the powerpack. So far the races are super short and a bit boring. Tyre and fuel management would spice things up, maybe that comes later.

I haven't played GT7 in like 4 months because I bought it and than just burnout after getting to platinum in 2 months.. I came back today, wanted to drive around little bit.. it ended up with 6 hours of playing lol... GT is so unique man.. I enjoyed some new races, my favorite is 1 lap nurburgring with kei cars.. even payout is not bad .. it's 150k w crb for 10 min.. btw @Nacho Libre good to see you still here bro

Today, my grind strategy paid off as I bought the 1967 330 P4 and still have a good amount of Credits, even after all the tuning I did to make it a proper fit into the LeMans 700pp event. Ran said event in said car, got 825.000Cr and a 3-star ticket, then got... 5000Cr from said ticket. Could have been worse though. More Credits are still more Credits. Now I have 8,5mil and some change. So here 's what I did.

Tyres: kept the RH it came with, but also bought inters and wets for the rains that occur at the aforementioned event
Ride height: kept the default 105-105 to avoid clipping
Sway bars: dropped them to 1-1, letting the suspension breathe over bumps
Compression damping: raised it to 34-34
Expansion damping: raised it to 48-48
Spring rates: raised them to 4,00-4,20
Cambers: rebalanced them to 0,8-1,2
Toe angles: zeroed them to reduce tyre wear
Initial torque: dropped it to 5
Acceleration sensitivity: dropped it to 10
Braking sensitivity: dropped it to 5
Downforce: maximised it (200-200)
ECU: customisable, dropped to 86%
Ballast: not installed
Power restrictor: not installed
Gearbox: customisable racing
1st: 3,000
2nd: 2,182
3rd: 1,636
4th: 1,263
5th: 1,000
Final: 3,567
Nitrous/Overtake: none
Turbocharger: none
Intercooler: none
Handbrake: normal
Brake controller: +5
Steering angle kit: normal
Permanent engine mods: none
Bodywork: increased rigidity, wider tracks
Rims: standard width, standard diametre
Result: 699,81pp (385bhp at 7900rpm/45,8Kgfm at 6000rpm)

IMPORTANT NOTE: I don't have the space for a wheel, so no idea how this setup will be for wheel users.

I also made and shared a Rosso Fiorano livery with Rotiform ROC-H rims (Grigio Le Sancy rim paint), converting it to a road car that supposedly makes 280bhp at 7000rpm (hence the quietness I speak of in the description, as the engine supposedly receives much less load than it was designed for).

I don't like grinding and haven't done so in long time but I jumped today in wtc 600 tokyo and honestly doesn't feel like grinding because I like that track combo with Delta Rally car, very nice race, ended up doing 2 of them.. Also grinding wise, kei cars on Nurburgring some say it's stupid, I did 3 races in last 2 days and it was nice, I can see myself doing that race again.. Also I bought Alpine race car, haven't tried it yet but saw on YT it's nice classic car, I'll build it 100% to finish some of career races, I'm currently at 71%

I think the Sardegna "grind" race has a more rewarding feeling now that I figured the track and the X2019's tendencies, with some tuning.

Figuring it out has paid off for me in the LeMans 700pp and Spa 1h events most of all. Today I did again the LeMans 700pp race in the 330 P4 I set up yesterday. Worked like a charm again. Next time this thing appears in the Legends, I 'm buying a second one to set up for said Spa event (800pp). BTW I also got 10.000Cr from the 4-star daily workout ticket, so one small step closer to the goal.

might be, but for me Tokyo track is just better and I like my Lancia Delta build, you can do the race without pit stop, overall it's fun race.. Spa, LeMans and Sardegna are kinda boring for me and also I like to drive slower cars more. . That's why I really like 150k to do 1 lap Nurburgring in Kei Cars, it takes 9:30 to 10 mins depends on which car you drive and also the track I really like.. tbf I have no particular reason to grind anyways , I'm buying from used car dealership cars that I don't have but I think I have most of them, than I can start buying from Brand Central even tho I don't feel like buying VGT cars... for Legendary I buy only cars that I like since I have Platinun trophy.
