I was suprised of the detail in track. I remeber calling my dad down to show him how they had light rays shining throught the trees in Trail Mountain, and how they had moving clouds, and shadow. I also was suprised that they had spent so little time on the flashes from the cameras and the ppl. hey could of made them 3 demnsional

The first time I saw GT3, I had borrowed it from my neighbor, and was blown away. My only previous car racing experience on the PS2 was with "Midnight Club" Before that was a bit of Twisted Metal on PSone. I can remeber back to the original spyhunter game. Simulation racing has come a LONG way since then...

I actaully borrowed GT3 from my neighbor for about a month, before I went and bought my own copy. 10 months later, I still enjoy racing through it.

Well, when I first turned it on, I watched the into, and was fascinated by the steller graphics... granted, the game's true graphics aren't as good, but still quite excellent. I was also surprised at how hard it was at first to win... it's no Mario Kart! :p

What did i say?...... something like, "all of you lot shut up!" about an hour later i said "somebody order pizza" and about 4 hours after that "no, you can't have a go, bugger off".......

Whats wrong with you?????????

i was amazed by the graphics. It started with the intro, that intro is sweet.
Then i started my first race, all i did then was drive very slowly so i could look around:D

Mostly, I spent a few hours saying "Whoa, check that out, then I saw the bigfoot at Trial Mountain...
I was blown away.

'Should have got the pack with the Logitech wheel'

I'd already played the demo and seen the movies so I knew what to expect - still pretty impressive, though.

I don't remember. But I wish it had been, but I am at least sure it hadn't, "Oh, my god, they killed Kenny!"

To answer the question "What did you say when you bought GT3?", I think I said "Here's the money" to the cashier at the Bridgeton MO Best Buy...

Alright, really, I was happy with all of GT3...a little disapointed with the skid sounds and lack of some key cars, but overall I was really happy...

To be completely honest, when i saw the tracks from previous games (i.e. drove around them) they were almost tear-jerkingly good.

I was completely blown away by the track detail, wind noise, car detail, moving things in the menu screens, everything. :)
No other game has ever blown me away as much as GT3 did.

Not even Final Fantasy X. (Just been released here)

Well I couldn't vote on the poll, I was amazed by both Track and Car detail......:gcar:

The entrance video had me glued to the TV Screen...... It's a Secret moment the time when you first take the seal off a game, open the box with that Brand New smell....ahhh, open the disc drive, place the game in with total care and hear it spinning for the first time....... :D

 Ok that looks weird, but hey you know what I mean about when you first buy a long awaited Game right?

Happy :gt: Days....:rotfl:

yea the cars by far cause i was playin gt3 and then i went down my mates and he was playin gt2 and i thought blocky ! then he was watchin a replay and selecting to view different cars and you could see the detail switching from one car o the other i think it was an evo race where wateva car u selected to view in the replay had the vents on the hood and the rest didnt hehe

I was amazed at the sheer detail of the game, how you could change a cars performance in such great detail, and the car detail was far superior to anything i have ever seen before , it is the best game i own,i am very proud of it.
