What do A-Spec Points actually do?

Yep - in each race it's an indicator of how much of a challenge you might face, but the overall total is just there for the sake of it.

Just to add (to this pretty old thread), that each event keeps a record of your highest a-spec points, so it does give you a bit of a PB to beat. I actually quite like the concept, shame they didn’t keep it. Although i think it was pretty bugged, sometimes I’ve been really overpowered and it gives me high pointage, and sometimes it’s the opposite. Overall it’s bredy gud though.
