Most important, large wheelarches so I can get my rimzz to fit fine.
Secondly, large boot for my subs.
Lastly, good seat adjustment/dash position so I can have my seat back all the way and still be able to have people see me through the side window (ability to see through the windscreen is optional.)
Maybe not.
Most important for me is solid suspension. By solid I mean good, not kidney hating, but not jello-like either. I like turning into corners and having my car stay flat, just gives me more confidence, and generally makes for a better driving experience.
Secondly, power. Doesn't have to be at supercar levels, but being able to pull out of uphill corners is always a bonus.
Thirdly, something I didn't see mentioned too much, throttle response. When I press the accelerator, I'd like...uh...accceleration NOW. This is where the Subaru can be a bit annoying. Gassing it out of a corner...nothing...here we go!!!! But I guess you get used to it and start throttling earlier to compensate.
Creature comforts are always good, but I can live without them if I have to. Styling...again, I'll take a good looking car over an ugly one everything else being equal, but I'd much rather be driving an ugly, uncomfortable jalopy that turns on a dime and pulls like a mule than a shiny, opulent boat.
