Why am I not very intimidated by Michigan summer heat.....

You should be!

It was warmer here when I was in Miami last summer on more than one occasion. People seem to think that it remains mild all year, it gets downright hot most of the summer.

But, me being a crazy sonofabitch, I drive around without the A/C on both here in Michigan and in Miami.

Why?

Because I like the heat.

If HID lens are dirty they will cause a huge problem as well, during the winter I try to clean mine every time I stop somewhere.

there is some jerk in seattle that has a raised truck and HID lights that are improperly aligned and they beam strait into the back window of the car infront of him. that has been me twice.

anywho I look for

1) Base Price-if it get 100 mpg but is 60K i don't think i'll buy it.

2) Gas Milage- if it costs $200 but gets 1/2 mpg i think not still

3) styling- I have been looking for a white 1986 celica supra

4) ride noise- I actually enjoy the sound of my ponys at work but when it deafens you it's time to go.

Most important, large wheelarches so I can get my rimzz to fit fine.
Secondly, large boot for my subs.
Lastly, good seat adjustment/dash position so I can have my seat back all the way and still be able to have people see me through the side window (ability to see through the windscreen is optional.)

Maybe not.

Most important for me is solid suspension. By solid I mean good, not kidney hating, but not jello-like either. I like turning into corners and having my car stay flat, just gives me more confidence, and generally makes for a better driving experience.

Secondly, power. Doesn't have to be at supercar levels, but being able to pull out of uphill corners is always a bonus.

Thirdly, something I didn't see mentioned too much, throttle response. When I press the accelerator, I'd like...uh...accceleration NOW. This is where the Subaru can be a bit annoying. Gassing it out of a corner...nothing...here we go!!!! But I guess you get used to it and start throttling earlier to compensate.

Creature comforts are always good, but I can live without them if I have to. Styling...again, I'll take a good looking car over an ugly one everything else being equal, but I'd much rather be driving an ugly, uncomfortable jalopy that turns on a dime and pulls like a mule than a shiny, opulent boat.

It get muggy around there, too? down here, it gets hot, and so muggy you can't possibly sweat away ANY body heat...

and I have to drive with four windows down, since I haven't any A/C. It's a bitch to roll those back windows up when you park. (No Power Windows, either.)

I like cars that don't feel cramped and that have a lot of visibility. I can't stand having B pillars in my face and monstrous C or D pillars that block glance-back-vision.
