What do you do when you get bored in GT5 ?

take a high hp car to the top gear track with no tcs or skid recovery and crappy tires and freak the hell out..then watch the replay and snap some cool pics lol
 
Play Forza 3, more and more with each day by the way.
 
I come here and post about WHY I'm bored with a game I've had for only a month or so... 💡
 
Play NBA 2K11.
 
I do the 30 Second Challenge like i did in GT4 , but because the Test Track is missing :grumpy: I use SS7 .

Go to Arcade Mode get the Fastest Car you have Max it out with the Gearbox set to its highest level , take off all the Aero Front and Rear . No TCS just ABS set to 1 .

Now set the Race to Proffesional Level . As soon as the Race Starts hit the Brakes and wait till the Clock gets to 30 Seconds . then you've got 2 Laps Only to try and catch 15 Cars and win the Race

Never used the X2010 , FGT or the Veryron thats too easy . I usually use Group C Cars 787B , Sauber e.t.c

One Race i won by 00.057 :dopey:
 
I then usually jump online or do the leaderboard drift/time trials until my mind gets exhausted lol
 
Online racing keeps me plenty interested. Not really bored at all to be honest.
 
Lately I've been hooked on the Stronghold mod which is a tower defense style conversion for Doom.




Yes i said Doom it's 19 years old but it still has 90% of modern games beat in terms of gameplay these days.
 
Turn it off and go do something else, surely?
 
I fall asleep at the wheel or turn it off completely.
 
I usually just do some Time Trials around some different tracks.
 
Take a shower, so I can attempt to wash off my shame. Wait, that was after something else...

I don't see myself getting bored of GT5.
 
Another one:
Watch Top Gear and AOTS on TV. The DVR has given me a new appreciation for the tele :)
 
well since i have hit level 34 a spec and i don't really see myself doing the 24hr races, i think i am going to explore the photo mode more and see what cars look the best in chrome paint and others and just cruise along in b spec (currently only at level 9)

Hmm, another thing I do when bored is I do my college homework and get ready to watch my college play hockey tomorrow night :lol:

Yep me too i'm getting soooo bored with this game after only 3 months of playing:sick:. I've been playing Forza 3 for more than a year and it is still doesn't get boring like GT5. I Forza i am only at 63,4% career mode. In GT5 im ALREADY at 70%. Just ridicolous:indiff:. For a game that has been made in half the time and has less cars but more awesome content and other stuff unlike GT5.
It only has handling and Graphics(sometimes) and the screentearing doens't help either. I have never had screentearing in Forza in runs fluent 60 frames per second. GT5 doesnt even have 60 frames p/s on the old tracks let alone city or nurburgring.
 
Usually B-spec mode + TV or just let the PS3 rest and do something else around the house.
