There are MANY things that one CANNOT do:
1.) one cannot create crossings/flyovers/underpasses/tunnels... okay, but WHY not?
2.) There seems to be a Limitation of Anchor Points you can set on a track (I started a new track and in the middle of the work I got an error-message telling me that "no more/additional anchor Points can be set)... Frustration perfect
3.) It seems impossible to create REAL NARROW hairpins, even if you reduce the diameter of the curve.
4.) Apparently one can only use a underlying picture to redo a real course layout in the "Eifel Flat"-mode, I didn't find it in the other 3 modes!

That reminds me of the good old times of the infamous "Arnold Palmer Course Designer" with which you could create golf-ourses for a PC-game.
There was a thread in a Forum titled "What Do You Like Most About Arnold Palmer Course Designer?",
where one of the members answered:
"That I don't have to use it!"

And for me now, the same goes for the GT6 Track Path Editor! :banghead:
Sorry... but done with this!

This is what I love about the Track Path Editor, I can create a track like Lake View. I've got a lot more tracks in me after creating that one. And another thing I love about the Track Path Editor, is making edits to curbs and corners when I'm on the test drives. There's a curb missing at track-out, no problem, just drag or add the curb where it needs to be and transfer the revision, test it again, perfect. Sure I'd love it to be an all powerful sandbox environment like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but I think that's a little optimistic given the complexity of creating an editor like that.

Keep in mind that this is still version 1.0, and who knows, maybe we'll get cross overs, tunnels, free-roam, and 100 km tracks. There's a lot to like, and there will always be more not to like.

But what I absolutely hate is, that I have built a track finally but cannot upload it since the stupid App does not connect/sign in to PSN! Thattakes the last nerve out of me, I cannot even test-drive my own creation!

If you have the PSN app installed you need to uninstall or freeze it & use a browser to do the login from course maker. The two Sony/PD apps do not play well with each other

You are my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Freezing was enough, and the upload worked like a charm!

Now I have to learn how to post the correct link so others may download my 1st track.
I hope this works:

Many, many thanks again, Doc!
Geezers really rock! :gtpflag:

Check this thread on how to make your link work!https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/how-to-share-your-own-tracks-via-url.335446/
You have to replace part of the URL Jordan outlines the process really well!
Good luck!

Many thanks again,
of course the way I imagined to make tracks available to others does not work.
But I have found out how it works, you can find my Monza-Monster here (sorry for any shortcomings, but this track was my 1st attempt only):

My favorite features:

Having this app on a tablet is actually pretty fantastic. I can mock up tracks when I'm out and about and then quickly load them up and test when I get home. This work flow is great for discovering the terrains.

Transferring updates to gt6 for testing is pretty quick.

Using the test sector option in the track tester.

I love how the tracks have many great features along the road that I don't have to manually add.

The provided environments are well designed.
