This is a Honda CR500 '86 Model, Big-Bore 2 Stroke.
It's great fun to ride, but it demands respect when applying the throttle, you know what I mean...:D

The URL takes us to a login page. Perhaps it's not a public link? I don't use flickr so I can't say, but you probably have the photo set as private rather than public. That may be the default rather than something you've actually set. The link works for you because you're logged in to your flickr page.

XR80R, TY175. My dad has owned over 30 bikes including a Ducati 900SS

I had a brief stint where I rode a RGV250. Was quite a fun bike but constantly had issues where it would kill spark plugs and couldn't afford to fix it so sold the bike off. Hopefully will get another bike bit later on.

You're right. I've now set it as public.

I don't know why that didn't work, here's the url;

Try...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/16646920@N03/1786029960

(You had extra http:// at start which stopped things from working, and also stuff at the end which wasn't necessary although that probably didn't matter).

But from that I was able to find the image...

It's not clear to me that last one is intended as a permanent URL, however.

Perhaps "Quote" this post (don't necessarily send the reply) to see and/or cut-and-paste what I actually did.

I should eventually be able to restore a working hotlink to a personal copy of that image. FWIW.
Instead I have uploaded an attachment
Perhaps, FWIW, I'll upload a picture of it with the "splash" handlebar tape.
