Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. That game was great in it's day, while TXR3 was a huge disappointment on every level.

txr3 had better graphics and better tuning so i play it more then txr0 but txr0 had hondas in it which i love and it had a few other cars i liked.

as to more modern games, nfsu2 is ok... but to ricey. that other game which i cant think of now that had the jetta in it was better.

Yes, you are a good guy. I totally agree that Zero was better, just cause of the custom boss cars, the driving physics were better, and I liked the overall feel of the game more.

Three (zero one in japan) wasn't as fun. Though the city(s) were much more detailed and better modeled. Also better scaled, the roads were too wide in TXR0...

Anywho, Midnight Club 3 is an AWESOME street racing game. It's totally over the top and doesn't even try to be realistic. But it's really, really fun.

Hmm toss up between Midnight Club 3 and then Forza. Even though Forza isnt street racing. Between both games you could pretty much do anything you wanted to including paint anything on the cars in Forza. 👍
RalliSport Challenge 2 would be following those.
If any car game out there would make cusomizable tracks it would be the ultimate!! Especially if it was as good as Far Cry instincts map maker.

Though I've played alot of good street racing games, if you want to go into an actual street racing scene game, I'd say Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero.

TXR3 was ok, but too easy compared to TXR0.
Plus, imo, TXR0 has better mods, harder gameplay (More life-like imo with earning cash), and a great selection of cars.

I have quite a few, though I don't remember what the max number of cars you could own in TXR0, I'm sure I came close with my cars.

Plus, TXR0 had the NSX which I beat a great slab of the game with.
