What do you use as a ring tone?

Something that sounds like a really friggin' annoying Morse code message...

Std. SE K700i ringtone...

I have that, "Hell Moto" ringtone. Came with my phone.

I have a bunch of different ones but my main one is Gary Newman - Cars

👍

I got quite a few music ones.
Right now, I've got Kickstart My Heart on.

And its an actual part of the song. I don't like those pixel sounds or whatever types...very annoying, imo.

I use polyphonic ring tones because I hate it when people use the actual song. The only reason I have so many different ring tones is because different groups of people have different tones so I can tell who it is.

If anyone here has that crazy from ring tone, they need to die... Or just get rid of it. Its the most annoying thing ever.
Anyway, I juts have some random ringtone that came with my phone.

Hockey Night in Canada. Corny, I know, but hey, it's a timeless classic.

Ringtones are the worst invention ever. I use the sound of a phone ringing also.

I watched a cheap crappy comedy show last night. They literally had a girl pull out her phone on the street and it did the crazy frog ring. Out of nowhere appeared an SAS team and shot the phone to pieces and arrested the girl. This should really happen.

I’ve forgotten what my ring tone sounds like, because I always leave mine on vibrate.

Some cheesy ringtone that came with my phone. I use it for the sole purpose of annoying people in public places.

Vibrate whenever no-one else is around.

I don't have a cellphone and don't intend having one. If you have a land line why on earth do you need a cellphone. In my opinion they have to be the biggest waste of money ever.

I agree, but I got mine for free so I ain’t complaining! For me the best part is SMS though, so damn convenient.

What about for those times when you're not near a landline.

I know in this day and age you'll always be near a landline, but people won't know how to contact the landline you're near to.

If i am at home then my mates have my number so it's not a problem. If i am out somewhere then i am out with who i want to be with so it's not a problem.

How many of you actually use your cellphone because you need to, not just because you have one.

I've got a Nextel Phone, and it uses the standard ring. Same with nearly everyone else on my construction site. One phone rings and 6 people stop to answer it.

My home cell phone (I don't have a land line) is just a standard beeping noise, so my wife and I can tell our phones apart.

My sister-in-law, on the other hand, has about 30 different ones. For her soon-to-be ex-husband, she has someone screaming. Rather funny.

Funky Monks by the Chilis. The #"bunk bar, bunk ba ba ba ba etc."# (Fruciante's awesome guitaring) is just the shiz and sounds really good on my W800 :)

Did have Scuttle' Buttin' by Stevie Ray Vaughan for a while, but got too many weird looks :P

My house landline cant make international calls or call mobiles ('cellphones' to all non Brittish members) - 3 weeks ago my mum and dad was abroad on holiday, a water pipe burst, i had to call my dad ( who also has a mobile phone and had it with him ) with my mobile phone to see how to turn the water off to stop my kitchen flooding.

Result - It took 5 mins for the water to be turned off - free of charge all because we have mobile phones! It would have cost me around £80 to call out a plumber ( to fix it aswell ) but after it was turned off i waited on my dads cousin who is a plumber to finish work then come round and fix it.

So the main benefit was my dad having a mobile phone which i could contact at any time!
👍

Edit: Another Story of why Cellphones are handy

Saturday night, well Sunday morning around 3 a.m. me and my mates were out in the cars ( 3 cars, with ladies of course ) were driving on a small winding road (just passed Lanark) and came across some stupid boy racer who had spun his Clio into a mass of bushes and tree's (luckily never made direct contact with any tree) with his girlfriend with him, car wasnt drivable all smashed up at the rear and tires had came off the rims! we were in the middle of nowhere so because we had cellphones we could phone the police, none of them were injured just in shock, so no ambulance was needed!

👍

On topic - My ringtone = Oasis - The importance of being idle (mp3 ringtone on Sony Ericsson K700i) looks like a popular phone! :)

Sorry about the off topic post, i know i am in a small minority here.
I get your point about emergency use. But i have never had a situation where i thought to myself i wish i had a mobile phone with me.
