I'm young-ish, love all the attention I get on drift nights, enjoy peeling away from stoplights, and like to pretend it was the Supra from my wallposter as a kid.

Chevrolet Impala SS '96

I have a bad credit rating, and my favorite activity includes blasting music on weeknights while I cruise around trying to look gangster.

Opel Astra. Diesel.

I'm worried about driving it, though you can't really tell.

BMW M3 Convertible (E46)

^^I'm a ****ing bad@$$

Red '09 1/2 Pontiac G6

Owned by 16 yr old upper middle class couples daughter:
My dad is a supervisor at the local manufacturing plant. He bought me this car when I turned 16. All my other girlfriends have grand ams. That what I really wanted but my Daddy bought this. Says its better. But he's wrong.

Ruf CTR-3.

Porsches are so common - I wanted something that'll really make 'em look twice! Seeing as I'm fabulously rich, I wanted something awesome and capable, obscure, and not totally played-out. And no, I'm not racing your Civic with it.

1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

Hey look im driving a crappy looking M5

And hey don't call the firebird V8 Stupid okay

Sorry to go off-topic, but you realise that your 5.7L 1999 V8 from the Firebird produces only 23 more horsepower than a 3.5 I6 from a 1988 M5. Not really that impressive, considering it's got 2.2l more and is 11 years newer.

Dodge Challenger 1970 Six-Pack

A nice piece of classic muscle, except without the traditional V8 that you'd expect.

Audi A4 2.0 Diesel

Nissan Sunny:

Doesn't care what that car looks like, how it drives, how fast. It's a car and it moves them from place to place.

20XX Ford/Dodge/Chevy Diesel Truck that smokes off every stop light out a 6" pipe run up through the truck bed. ;)

E28
E28 BMW M5 :sly:

Disserves proper response.

I drive a classic BMW, not because of the status symbol, not because of the M Badge, and not because I want to look rich, but because I enjoy driving and I like driving something worth driving.

Toyota Camry

I got this for my sweet 16, asked for a Mustang, but got this. Hey, at least I can save on gas so I can go to a good college and become rich doctor!

BMW M-Roadster

White & Nerdy
I are big tough redneck! I get in bar fights! I think I'm invincible! I annoy people with my obnoxious blue headlights!

LMAO @ Blue headlights.

Even that number still shows the firebirds horsepower to be underwhelming.

Land cruiser with kit: I enjoy off roading by actually going off roading.

Mazdaspeed 3.

I like something sporty whith some practicality. I also prefer newer cars over older ones.

Mercedes ML

That's the US Spec, European spec has it at 282 HP.

US spec is more appropriate, since to the best of my knowledge the Firebird you're comparing it to was never sold anywhere else. Also, the Firebird and US M5 had catalytic converters, while the EU M5 did not.

Owning the Firebird may also have other benefits unrelated to hp/ci, such as cheaper, closer parts & service, ease of modification, etc.

First of all: hp/l?

He may have asked for it, but try and come up with a rebuttal that isn't terrible. Firebirds weren't the most fantastic of cars, so there are plenty of arguments to choose from that actually have value.

Second of all, last I checked, the Firebird with the base LS1 (which is what the 305-horse engine was) wasn't the top of the line model anyway whereas the Euro-Spec E28 M5 was. Try the E28 M535 and you'd have a much more accurate comparison.

Yeah but its BMW so its the greatest thing ever, and the Firebird is American so its the worst thing ever. Makes sense really.
