Hii,

what does this icon in select a driver in B-spec mode means?

I'd like to know specifically what it means too. I just assume it means that the drivers performance is dipping, but dont take my word for it....

Some say it's 'mood'....but it seems to have no effect....Bob wins regardless of whether his girlfriend left him or not...:)

It signifies the drivers mood. Up is good and down is bad I think, but I don't know the specifics. Supposedly the better Bobs mood, the better he will perform. Not heard of any sure-fire way of affecting Bobs mood though.

I have also noticed this icon and did some testing with old Bob. When I was pushing him through 5 championship races all the time, the icon was orange, pointing down. Then I did the same championship and left him alone, to do whatever he wanted, and the icon changed to blue, pointing up. Maybe it has something to do with that.

Probably his overall stress level?

My Bob did multiple runs round Indy unattended. I saw the icon point up and down during that time, despite not issuing a single command or the races having a different outcome.

Haha, really i would guess the only time it hurts you is low level when they are already spotty drivers to begin with, or on the bubble for really hard race series, then having a depressed driver would be an actual pain. But most of the time it means little. I do enough bob grinding on indy, and i think there is a slight difference between happy bobs lap times and sad bobs lap times. But then again i have had happy bob come in 2nd when i was not attending, tho majority of the time he finishes first, so maybe it is just pure luck of the draw in any given race.

It goes up and down over time. different Bobs are on a different cycle. When they are Blue they drive just a bit better and when orange just a bit worse. In a really even match it will make a difference but if you out class or overpower the opponents it makes little difference.
