I noticed this. I was looking through the Post a Pic of Youself thread and noticed that at the beginning of the thread, most members that posted haven't been around for a while.

NocturnalPS has been around recently, he's just had more events in real life that have taken up his time. I have vague recollections of Rice Rocketeer, but BrothaLynch predates even me.

I miss seeing Rumpleforeskin and Klos.

Seems that GTP is entering a new generation. I think this is #3. There was the first generation (people that started here). The second generation began when the GTF crashed and burned and many came to call GTP home. The Release of GT4 began the 3rd generation.

INteresting to watch all this unfold.

I guess I'm early 2nd gen, but I do remember all those guys. And yes I really do miss rumple and Klos. Ahhh the good old days of the forum.

Not possible to do it yourself, all you'd get is the B, followed by *****.

Maybe a Mod did it for him? :confused:

I just found an online unicode character map and it had a B on there so I tried it and it worked.

I'd better change it though.

Whoa, now that you brought it up. I remember Rumple's problems shortly before he left...Did he explain why he was leaving. I remember he almost killed himself on purpose after crashing his focus...Haha I also remember ving, he was so close to that fiat coupé he always talked about.

I can't believe I've been a member for over three years... I remember almost everyone that registered around the same time I did. I still see most of them post all the time. However, I find that I visit GTPlanet less frequently due to real world obligations. The forums here are the best considering they were the second one I ever joined (Macaddict.com's being the first; I don't post there anymore and didn't much in the first place).

I wonder what Klostrophobic is up to. Did he even mention that he was leaving this community? I know he used to be annonying sometimes but it was fun to read his posts. But he did get away with some really stupid things.

Anywho, I wonder some of them might have become silent participants, like meself. I started reading here since the release of GT3. That was quite a few years ago. And the idea of registering never occured to me, that is, until I couldn't see attachments, I decided to sign up. But I never posted (except a few). So I suppose some of them decided to become inactive members (sneak in and out once in a while) on these forums and that would possibly include Darin, but of course he was banned.

Klostrophobic was just on the other day, but he must not post enough for us to see them. He was last active on Apr. 4. Rumple Foreskin must not come here though, because I haven't seen any sign of him in quite awhile.

Well when I started to frequent this board I was looking for information about GT3. There are differnet kinds of board users on the Net. Some of them jump the gun everytime and shoot their slightest concerns and/or questions. The others re like me, a bit more patient, do lot of searches and find what I want. You'll be surpriesed how much information you find here just by searching (I know you already know that one

). And really with hardcore gamers/racers here, the most microscopic topic is covered. So why bother posting my own?

Well then you get to know them, one-way knowledge of course, I realize maybe my 2 cents would help, or just sharing different experiences, the very foundation of these forums, would be useful as well. So here we are. Aren't we happy we are all kinda different?

Back on topic, I am sure they visit sometimes. Where else they get valuable GT stuff?
