What exactly causes this glitch?

I know this is an old thread but I couldn't find a newer one that referred to this supercop "glitch".

I read on another board that if you have a wanted level and you are on top of the Hyman condo that a supercop would appear and bust you. After my latest killing spree after I saved, I lowered my wanted level to 2 stars and flew over to the hyman condo and landed on the helipad facing the door opening where you come up and waited (wide camera view). A cop appeared in mid air off to the left, instantly was next to the helicopter and pulled me out and busted me--happened rediculously fast--he was a Super Cop!!

According to the other board. If you are sitting on a bike near the right edge (facing the door where you come up), he will knock you off but since you fall off the helipad he doesn't bust you. I have not had a chance to try this out yet.

I've been busted in Midair in the Hunter before, fairly close to the ground but I thought out of ground cops range---I wonder if it was the super cop (I never saw him)

Make sure you save first if you try this.

super cop huh sounds evil ive never seen him ive only heard of him in one other thread but he sounds evil like some good cop gone bad er something:odd:
 
Floating cars (even cop cars) aren't unheard of. I've also had those Supercops tele-transport themselves to my car door and bust me, afterwards I always went on a 30 min. six-star rampage shooting any and all cops ONLY in the legs to watch them squirm... still doesn't quite feel like payback though. :irked:
Up until now I didn't know of their moniker "Supercops", I always called 'em "****ingcops" myself. :mad: :trouble:
 
Instead of remembering past encounters with supercops--Just go up on the hyman condo helipad with at least 2 star wanted level in a helicopter or motorcycle facing the door (I'm not sure if a vehicle is required) and try to kill this cop if you think you are fast enough (save first)--I don't think anyone can-- he moved too fast.
 
The best place to find supercop is by the greesy chopper but he will spawn all over the place, and i have killed him once but that was luck beacues i shot a roket and he ran in to it.

The first time i saw him i was in a tank and i saw him come running out of a building backwars ran though my tank and kept going but he still busted me
