What games are you playing now?

That said, I started again on Ford Racing 3 last night, and I am already having more fun with it than I was with 1 and 2. This game is a lot easier than Ford Racing 2, and I am hoping it'll take less time to beat as well. Been a long time since I played this one again, and I am looking forward to seeing what it has to offer once again!
Having a lot of fun with the PS2 version, and I'm already done with Ford Challenge mode; now I am on Ford Competition. At this rate, I think I might be done with it in just a day or two.
Well, sure enough, I beat Ford Racing 3 the very next day after I made that 2nd post, and this game was fun from start to finish! Of all the games in this series, I really do like Ford Racing 3 the most. I actually liked the physics more than in Ford Racing 2, and the fact that they made the challenges a lot easier than Ford Racing 2's was certainly a welcome change. The whole game felt so much better to play, and I really don't have many complaints about it. It'll be really nice to play it again on PC whenever I get it.

With that out of the way, as of last night, I am starting a "PS2 NFS Marathon" now, starting with Underground 1 and stopping at Undercover, and I intend to play all of them back to back. Since I have these games on PC now, barring Undercover, and I want to get into them someday, I wanted to come back to the PS2 versions to reconnect a bit and get a feel for all of them again, the way I have always known them, one last time. Should be fun because, apart from Carbon and Most Wanted, I have not started fresh again with the others since I got them, which was back when most of them were fairly new. I also feel like this will be a good opportunity to see how well they all hold up after all this time and what my thoughts on them are now. I have never done this before, so I genuinely am not sure how long it's going to take, but I am hoping to beat them all by Christmas, hopefully.

At some point, I am going to play the 360 version of MW2005, and the PS3 versions of Carbon and ProStreet, but that'll be sometime next year probably. Never did beat ProStreet on PS3 since my saves kept getting corrupted, and I have yet to even make any kind of progress in MW and Carbon on those systems. Should be fun to give these a proper go someday!

Back at it 😎

Funny story, that's what I am playing too! I started yesterday, and I am already past the 26th race, I think.

Castlevania Belmont's Curse has become a distraction from other games in my playing order (Witcher 3 Remastered, Gears of War E-Day, etc.). It's probably a 65/35 love-hate relationship. Love: the art design, combat, voice acting and music are good. Hate: Trap-ridden platforming in some sections, and the useful moves for it like dash and double-jump take time to unlock. Bosses can be damage sponges but you can use the game config menu to cheese them., also save/travel points are few and far apart, so backtracking becomes tiring (honestly, that's a worn trope at this point with the Metroidvania games.)
