Since sort-of giving up on GTA Online for a little while, I've played through Full Throttle (amazing game, I love it), revisited Payday 2 with a friend to see what's new (answer: plenty, also I unlocked the SD barrel for the MP5 and finally got the shark teeth shotgun mod), played a little bit of NFS: Most Wanted (2012) and about half an hour of Dead Space 3. I didn't realise DS3 was a guns to mens, it felt weird being shot at (with bullets) in a Dead Space game.
I also played one level of Teleglitch: Die More Edition, that game is terrifying and hard (I died in the tutorial) but also a lot of fun, it's like Hotline Miami's fast-paced, lethal combat meets The Binding of Isaac's permadeath, randomly generated Roguelike world with survival horror (read: limited resources) and crafting thrown in just to be safe. Or extremely unsafe, even. I really like it and with any luck it'll be discounted again in the probable Steam Halloween sale this week or next, if it's happening at all, that is.
Oh and Borderlands 2 is making me want to play it again with a loot hunt, which is where they mark a boss and then you go and kill it to get a guaranteed drop of a certain gun. I want to get back on that horse and get all six characters to level 72, but as it has taken ~550 hours to get three of them to 61 and the other three to 50, it'll take some time. I think I'll just relentlessly join co-op games and put up with randoms being idiots to get the other three to 61 and beyond as quickly as possible.
