Saints Row IV, it's hilarious and the actual gameplay is possibly the best in the open world genre... If only it were possible to mix the core mechanics of Just Cause 2 with SRIV, add some of the details of GTA V and make it work, they'd have the perfect game, in my opinion of course.

Did you ever play Crackdown 1 or 2? From the gameplay I have see, SR4 looks very similar to that in a good way. I am a huge SR fan especially the full co-op campaign. I started to lose interest after SR3 when they replaced the original Shaundi and killed off Jonny Gat. They also removed demolition derby, fight club, along with septic avenger and many other side events that were so much fun. I have not even tried SR4 yet. SR2 was my favorite. In fact the SR2 avatar is still my avatar on xboxlive.

No, I never did play Crackdown and Saints Row The Third was the first Saints Row I played, even though I do have Saints Row 2 thanks to PS+.

The superpowers you get in SRIV are just so much fun though, similar to the fun you can have in Just Cause 2 with the grappling hook and parachutes except even better; being able to jump over some pretty tall buildings, run up the ones you can't jump over, sprint faster than a fast car while blowing cars and pedestrians away as you pass them... Yeah, it's pretty great, and I still have four more powers to unlock.

Just brought Borderlands 2 on the PS3. I got it for 10$ and I think that is a great bargain for a game such as this, the game is just fun especially when you have someone to play with though I'm having a problem with the game's FOV being set too low which gives me a very nauseating feeling after playing the game.

You would love Crackdown 1 and 2 if you like the powers in SR4. The powers are almost identical. Crackdown was actually the main inspiration for most of the sandbox games this generation. Crackdown was the first FULL sandbox co-op campaign experience online.

Ohh, it's on the 360, that would be why I've never heard of or played Crackdown. Unfortunately that also precludes me from ever playing either game, too.

SRIV, like SR3 before it, has made me want to play it so much that I've killed it for myself. Last night I think I pretty much finished all but the last couple of missions and I feel like I've burned out on it, so I want to give it a rest - like I did with SR3 - but I know that means I'll never go back to it (also like SR3). It's not because I don't want to play it, but because I know if I do ever come across it in my Steam library I'll think 'oh yeah, I was pretty much done with that...' and pass in favour of something new.

That's too bad you will miss out on the Crackdown experience. To each his own. Who knows, maybe it will be multi console when the next Crackdown comes out. But at least you got a taste of it with SR4. I will eventually play SR4, but like you, SR3 just didn't do for me what SR2 did. Now as amazing as GTA5 is, it will be very hard to get me back into the SR series. Especially once online heists come out for GTA5.

Most of the day been playing Pokemon X - played some Mario 64 DS for about an hour or so after work, now I'm back to Pokemon X.

Skyrim

Whew its been a LONG time since I played this game. Decided to get into it again last night. I am at the beginning of the Dragonborne dlc. Supposed to find the Temple of miraak but have no idea where to begin. So for now I am completing side missions.

Vlambeer. Best indie developer right now? I definitely think so.

So far I've only played Luftrauser, Super Crate Box, Ridiculous Fishing, Nuclear Throne (and the early prototype Wasteland Kings) and Gun Godz, but each one has had simple but well-polished gameplay, awesome music (see hear below) and that certain something that makes their games so very addictive. Also the guns are satisfyingly blammy.

I've had this on repeat quite a lot today. If you want to play it - and you really should - the Flash version is here. This is just a demo of the actual Steam release coming in April.

Edit: Hah, I just reached an almost literal kill screen. I got to around 1850 points and there were so many bullets on the screen Chrome came up with that 'this page is making your computer slow, kill the processes or wait?' message.

GTA5 online
Amazing update yesterday that got me even more hooked on GTA5 online than ever before. It just keeps getting better and better with each update.

Fable Anniversary
I rented this last night and installed the game but have not played it yet. In fact this is the first time I have rented or purchased a game in a very long time.

Xcom: Enemy Within on Classic Ironman. It's unforgiving to say the least. One mission i was hunkering down behind full cover and the thin men simply blew that up and killed the men. They were so many they could afford to miss every second shot and still win easily. I ran like hell without having fired a single shot and 1 trooper made it back to the VTOL.

I mean, come on.

Just completed Super Mario Bros. U. Solid game, good fun.

+Great physics + controls
+Bright and interesting levels

-Awful motion controls
-Insane difficulty jumps

7.8/10

Going through a Platinum run for a few games:
- The Last Of Us [PS3]
- The Last Of Us: Left Behind [PS3]
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted [Vita]

Playing these as well:
- Grand Theft Auto V [PS3]
- Call of Duty: Ghosts [PS3]
- Battlefield 4 [PS4]

GTA5 online Still hooked on the online.

World Of Tanks Been really hooked on this game lately.

Fable Anniversary This game was way too buggy so I returned the rental.

GT6.
Loadout (F2P)
Combat Arms (F2P)
Bit of Minecraft and Starbound.

Started on The Testament of Sherlock Holmes yesterday, and finished it today with the platinum trophy. :D

Banished. I've put 25 hours in the last week. It's a pretty rad game. Just pray to the good lord Jesus nothing catches on fire.
