What games are you playing now?

Do it. From console launch to how it is now is an incredible improvement. One of the best games I've played this decade.
Yeah, this is what I keep hearing. It looks like the complete edition is available for around £30 now, so that is pretty good.

Roadcraft and downloaded NBA 2K25 off PS+. Even though it's basically the same as 2K23 which I already own, and I only play the MyEras mode. Not been playing too much online currently. Figured I'd try to take advantage of the free PS+ games more often.

Ridge racer extreme 2 just released for xbox series x
Fantastic original arcade ridge racer playing in my full racing rig and using clutch and h pattern shifter,it’s like getting thrown back 30 odd years in time, brilliant

I finished all of Raiden's VR missions last night and it made me wonder if I ever actually did that the first time around, I'm pretty lazy and they're quite difficult. I can't lie, I gave up on getting the top times quickly, but managed to do Raiden X's single mission (which is to do five missions in a row) the second time around and it definitely didn't feel familiar, but it has been like 20 years.

Probably going to grind out more dog tags before I start on Snake's missions, honestly. I've done all the Snake Tales and have all the tanker tags on very easy, normal and hard. I wonder how far I'll get before I give up.

Backlog clearance. Finally got around to doing the Battlefront 2 campaign. It's only taken 8 years.
Hoping that the rumoured RDR2 update comes this week so I can start on the 2018 pile.

I'm making a sustained run to finish Hogwarts Legacy, and boy, with 5 deaths and one near miss in the main story and sub quests this is becoming darker and more ruthless than J.K. Rowling's own body count!

Edit: And I've finished the main story and all major sub quests, all that is left is an epilogue of sorts, but it consists of leveling up to a certain number so I will finish that up later at a more leisurely pace.

All in all, I score it 8.5/10 (on PC), an excellent game overall, and I look forward to a sequel. Don't ruin this WB games!

That part I know.

What's this about a rumoured update, it's what I meant to ask.
There's a rumor that RDR2 will get a current-gen update (or re-release) & a Switch 2 port. However, the rumor seemed to come about just before the Xbox Showcase and many thought it would show up there (for some reason; Rockstar avoids those things). I guess this has been further anticipated by Rob Wiethoff who apparently said there was some news to be shared this week but he couldn't say more.

It would be nice, but I wouldn't hold my breath if nothing ever comes about (the Switch 2 port maybe seeing as they actually got Cyberpunk on it) as there's been similar rumors we're also getting a GTA IV re-release. Rockstar is fully hands on with VI at the moment, so I'm not sure who they would even have working on that stuff. Video Games Deluxe, the people who updated the Trilogy Game that Grove Street Games ported, were just acquired this year & turned into Rockstar Australia. That studio now falls under the Rockstar Games umbrella which has reportedly, every studio working on VI.

Guilty Gear Strive. It took some time, but it finally clicked. This fighter has very deel systems and it was a bit daunting for me as I really only played tekken my whole life.

Getting better and better now.

Here is the True "Hero of Kvatch".

Bonus video...

Been trying to clear a few half finished games.

I was given a copy of GTAV on PS4 ages ago and started a play through (having previously completed it on PS3), but got distracted and never finished it. Wrapped that up at the weekend (not every single side quest, but the main story, all the properties and all the races).

Saw a copy of MGS5 Ground Zeroes very cheap on PS4. Again, previously played this on PS3 but, given how much I love the Metal Gear series, I picked this up so I could play the best version of the game. Not a huge amount of gameplay in this, so not expecting to take long to wrap this up.

Really wanted to finish Boltgun off, but I just can't be bothered to go back to it.

Per the recommendation(s) in the thread I have a couple of copies of Cyberpunk on watch on eBay, could do with not winning one of those though, as I really need to clear more games first!

Really, really, need to get stuck into Armored Core VI. Finished the first level and enjoyed it, but then started playing something else... Space Marine 2 horde update dropping later this week though, so I think that is next weekend taken care of!

I know this feeling. Trying to resist the urge to acquire more games until I've made a bigger dent in the backlog. Also trying to concentrate on some of the smaller games rather than the timesink RPGs and multiplayer titles - I spent a while on howlongtobeat.com yesterday listing the sub-20 hour games from my collection.

All that being said, play Cyberpunk, it's fantastic (but not on PS4, it still doesn't run well and Phantom Liberty isn't supported).

I do it with games and even worse with books; can't help adding to the collection even though I know I have no time to fit them in (or no space to store them!).

Yeah, my aim is to pick up the ultimate edition on PS5. I have an eye on the new Sniper Elite as well (as I am long term fan of the series), but I'm waiting for a price drop on that one.
