Playing the Resident Evil 4 Remake for the second time (PS5). I am more of an original RE1, 2 and 3 kind of Resident Evil fan but I can't deny the impact the original RE4 had and the remake is so well done.

for reals?? I don't remember that game looking like that on my Pro back then. I mean it looked amazing back then but your screen capture looks even better!
Thanks, it might be because of my TV, it's 4K HDR and makes most games look really good.

Tbf I think RDR 2 looks amazing in general, not only concerning the graphics but also the animations.

Some facilities took forever to 5 star. And the final Mr. Impossible mission was … something.
Yeah the some of the initial ones in mexico took forever, and f8 was a pain too.
I built and upgraded every road witch made mr impossible's 50min order considerably easier

I pre-cleared all the camps and ended up doing it in 22 mins or something. :)

I hadn't played anything at all in ages, about a month, and was starting to get an itch to play Deus Ex, Red Faction or maybe Just Cause 2, so naturally I bought Burnout Paradise for about the fourth time (PS3 physical, digital, Origin and Steam) and just played for about three hours. Not sure I'll be able to 102% (maybe it goes even higher with Big Surf Island, I forget) it again since there were only two online games when I checked but I'm gonna try, I love that carbon Uberschall 8.

I also bought Sifu because I love the films it was inspired by but I already know it'll stress me out, which is partially why I waited so long to buy it. I should probably just give it a go and see.

Playing atm :

1) Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (Xbox series X)
2) The Crew Motorfest (Xbox series X & PS5 Pro)
3) Diablo 4 (gaming laptop, Xbox Series X & PS5 Pro)
4) Gran Turismo 7 (PS5 Pro)

I keep seeing your posts on the TDU and TCM reddits.

Seeing as its free on PS+ this month. Figured I'd give Lies of P a go. Just under five hours in and I'm enjoying the Soulsborne vibe of it but I'm still coming to terms with the fighting style. Think I'm trying to play it too much like Bloodborne and relying too much on dodging, when I should be blocking and parrying. Heck of a well made game though.

Got frustrated with Burnout Paradise being inconsistent and, well, frustrating in the last few road rage events and gave Red Faction a go, and it's just not very good! In a world where Half Life came first (three years earlier) it's just flat and dull and the voice actor for Hendrix, the person you hear from the most, is awful. I see now the only reason I have any nostalgia for it is simply because I hadn't played Half Life yet. I do appreciate that it doesn't make you wait to get a rocket launcher but I don't appreciate how underutilised the very good (especially for 2001) terrain deformation is.

After the amazing Expedition 33 ive struggled to enjoy a story driven game as it was good it makes everything else seem sub par.

Good thing the BF6 came online at the time. Looking very promising and back to BF3/4 days, no big maps on the beta though so will have to wait for release to see how they play.

Give a try to South of Midnight. It's also story-driven, and takes place in a surreal setting that resembles a stop-motion movie (Coraline, James and the Giant Peach, etc.) I'm currently near the end-game and it has become one of my favorites of this year.

Never even heard of it, will check it out. Thanks 👍

Welp, I had been on a NASCAR kick since early July, which saw my first major playthrough of NASCAR Rumble in 20 years, and even some time on some NASCAR PC games, but as of today, I am pretty burnt out from it. That said, I am moving on to the Star Wars Battlefront series, and I am playing through it right now. Starting with the first game on both PS2 and Xbox, and then eventually I am going to go to Battlefront II on both systems again and do the same. I am basically doing this prep because I intend to give the PC version a proper go soon and eventually play with a bunch of mods for it, something I've been meaning to do for longer than I care to admit. I guess now is finally the time I do this, since it's been on my mind lately and I've considered it for a long time now. 😎

On vacation so I only have my Switch 2 with me.

I’m playing DK Bananza which I absolutely don’t like so I might just drop it and the Final Fantasy 6 Pixel remaster.

Slowing down on Burnout Paradise since I got the Elite license, slowly chipping away at online challenges, showdown road rules and the bike stuff but playing other things.

I picked Yakuza Kiwami 2 up again for a bit but something about it doesn't grab me like Zero and Kiwami did, I think it's the lack of distinct fighting styles? Not sure. Went on to try Thunder Wolves, Sanctum 2 and Atom Zombie Smasher but they either didn't work as well on the Deck as I expected or just weren't great games.

I also heard Nuclear Throne had a 60fps patch so I'm playing that now, it's been ages but I'd played about 60 hours of that in the old days, mostly in early access. I just unlocked my old favourite, Chicken, and have been getting further with her than with the others already. Excellent game, sad it didn't seem to really land like some other big roguelites.
