Forza Horizon 5 on PS5
- Had to finish remaining seasonal playlist races, stunts, and daily challenge to get more than 40 points.
Gran Turismo 7 on PS5
- Doing this week’s Weekly Challenges.
Seeing AC Rally take a backward step (imo) with the last update I’ve reinstalled ACC after being on the back burner for quite a while, and I’d gotten triples and a DD wheel so thought I’d give it a spin and yeah, it’s pretty spectacular to be honest 😂
I’m late to the party here, but needless to say this game deserves all the heaping praise it got at release. The platforming, the physics, the boss fights, the music, the homages to PlayStation history, everything about it left a massive grin on my face throughout. It just has a spark that I feel that the rest of Sony’s AAA fidelity-oriented output hasn’t otherwise had in the PS5 generation.
Just got Powerwash Simulator 2 after my friend convinced me 😄
I also ordered the GT Advance 4-In-1 bundle from Amazon after months of being on the fence (and waiting for it to be cheaper). I'm glad I never sold my DS Lite, hopefully it still works...
Still on eBaseball: Pro Spirit 2026. Aside from just being really good, it's just so refreshing to have a modern sports game that actually puts some effort into offline modes.
And now that I've gotten the Switch 2 back from being repaired, I can finally play some Star Fox. Only had the game sitting on my shelf for the past 5 weeks. 😅
Still running GT7 daily. But I'll also put on Horizon Forbidden West every so often. I've completed the game, but I like just messing around, killing machines, flying around, and seeing what funny things the NPCs will say when you talk to them. As well, I'll fire up D2R every once in a while to kill some demons or look for items I haven't seen, yet.
Welp, I finally wrapped up my 19-year-old saves in Need for Speed Carbon on PS2 and had a good time doing so! And now, as of today, I decided to take a detour and revisit something a bit left-field I hadn't replayed since at least 2010. That game being this:
I did not originally plan on revisiting Test Drive, but it's been on my mind a lot lately, and since I am in the mood to play it again and not much else appeals to me, I might as well do it! 😎 Besides, I am planning on getting the PC version soon anyway, so I think it's about time I came back to it as a refresher. Fortunately, this game is pretty short, so it shouldn't take me long to knock this one out.
Despite hating online only games, I'm having a great time playing GR Breakpoint even though it's still the 6 hour trial (I'll be waiting for a big sale in my region).
I started GR Wildlands too since they finally give it a 60 fps patch. Really loving it so far, I love that they give us world parameters settings so we can play however we want.
Ubisoft deserves a lot of flack but I do like their support of some of their old games. Wish they'd done the same with The Crew...
Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls.
This game gives me the same vibes as Marvel vs Capcom 2 when it was first released. Great fighting game. Looks good, plays nice. A bit frantic with al the stuff that's happening on screen, butbI really like it.
