I think it's just you - 170megs running at least 5 tabs for the last 7 hours.

It's site dependent, I'm assuming. Only sites I've ran in the 20 some minutes were GTP and amazon.
It started chugging at 1.3GB and climbed to 1.7 when I closed it.

Cristiano Ronaldo... Whiny B****!!
 People like you grind my gears *looks at country flag*
:D
I love football, put the money involved is GIGANTASTIC BIG!!! :scared:
And there is no "h" after the "C"

I've never seen or heard of anyone removing suspension completely. Is your gripe just with lowering the car? In that case, lowering doesn't always equal less suspension travel.

Took a while to reply, I know, but I've got no problem with people who lower their car.

When I said remove the suspension I was exaggerating, I meant the people who have a car with suspension so stiff that it barely absorbs any impact at all. I was driving a few days ago and the guy in front of me hit a small pot hole and his rear tires visibly came off of the ground. I mean, there's stiff suspension meant to improve performance, and then there's what these people do. I've only ever seen it twice, but it just doesn't make any sense and only hurts the cars performance.

Not only the cars performance, its passangers too! I've been in cars similar to ones you've just described although maybe not quite as bad and they are so horribly uncomfortable, especially living in an estate with speed bumps in it :grumpy:

And that leads me onto my gear grinder, speed bumps and the local council.... so on my housing estate there is an ambulance depot where they depart from in response to 999 calls. So what do the local council do? Line the road with speed bumps! Where is the logic behind this?! It's not even a road anyone went over the speed limit on, and now I'm learning to drive I have to negotiate my way round them and they are so annoying. Stupid blobs in the road just too wide to drive over in the small car (DS3) I'm learning to drive in but bigger cars you just drive one wheel either side of them. Stupid council

What grinds my gears?

Exercise addiction, its annoying as hell. The past 2 weeks have been especially bad.
I only feel good when I'm exercising and one or two hours after a workout, just a few hours w/o any kind of exercise or physical work and my head starts to hurt, my back's killing me, I get depressed, uneasy, can't sleep, can't concentrate and I just start to feel terminally ill. My whole body hurts and I feel like a sick 90 year old.
To avoid this condition I work out every day really hard at least 2-3 hours (weight lifting) and that eats up my free time, I just work (stressful full time job), sleep, lift weights and neglect all my other duties (or even forget about them). Hell, I didn't even have a single date this year, I don't go to parties anymore and got totally asocial.

I know it sounds strange and funny at the same time, but I tell you, its as bad as any other serious addiction and its wreaking havoc on my life., I feel like I'm trapped and totally mentally burned out.

The funniest thing is I started to exercise to battle my depressions, talk about replacing one problem with another.

Sounds like he had those world class ksport coilovers on his whipped up hooptie.

When I'm drinking water and someone tells me a funny joke and I'm laughing and choking from the water at the same time. I'm covered in water right now and it looks like I peed on myself. xP

Try anything you don't wash your clothes in. It's much worse, because it is either sticky, stains, or is smelly, move of which applies to water, unless there's something in that water.

Mine is around 350 MB, 6 tabs open for several hours. One tab is running a radio station. So it's probably you.

When you build something on Minecraft and some creeper comes, hisses then goes BOOM! Blowing everything up.

When you build something on Minecraft and some creeper comes, hisses then goes BOOM! Blowing everything up.

Doesn't that bother everyone?

(Note that I don't actually play MineCraft. :p)

There should be rules to this thread. Where is MadMike? 💡

All in favour of making rules?

A rant should relate to a personal experience that is beyond "When you build something on Minecraft and some creeper comes, hisses then goes BOOM! Blowing everything up." That's part of a game. (sorry to highlight you Jai but it was the most recent.)

A full explaination should be given as to why your gears have been ground so that we don't end up with post that say "It's raining" as opposed to -

"It's raining today and I was meant to be playing tennis with the boss which could have helped my chance of promotion but it was cancelled. On top of that I told my pals to go ahead and do the 4 hour 'Ring endurance without me because I wouldn't be able to make it and missed a really good laugh. The rain has ground my gears."

^Now that's a half decent rant.

I for one, would like to see a revision of the posting system for the thread. Anyone else?

I suppose it's all relative. Minecraft might be the be-all-and-end-all of someone's life, so it's a major rant for them*. Others have the real world to deal with. :grumpy:

But I agree, they should be real 'get it off your chest' moments.

* Sorry to use this as an example Jai.

My minor life issues could be posted here on the hour but the majority of them are not worthy of a post, hence the lack of my "Kid kicked me in the nuts" posts.

Real, hardcore, p'd off moments of pure rage. That's what I like to read. :)

I'm here! Well there is guidelines on the OP....some peoples Gears are Ground over things we may view as Trivial, but that's the point, its what is bothering you personally and getting it off your chest.

I agree some more explanation of some Gear Grinders would perhaps make it more understandable/humerous (such as Jai's hilarious Cat/puke episode )

I like this thread and love it's success, I just don't want it shut down because of bickering or "spam fest" as TB put it.

As long as people post things that are on topic and don't bicker or comment negatively on peoples rants, then all should be cool 👍

My Gear Grinder today?
Having no Spell check on my browser, I know I have made several grammatical errors above but don't know what :grumpy:

Like this...

Fat people on mobility scooters!!!!! Obesity is not an illness, it's a lifestyle choice or even a hobby, FFS! Don't drain the resources of the health service by basically eating too much and not moving around enough. And certainly don't give them a ****ing scooter to roll around on, that's just encouraging them to move around LESS!!!!!!!!

OK?

:grammaticallyredundant:

 Look out, trouble from the mods...

Fair point.

It was becoming a bit of a 'spam fest' to quote TB, but I'm sure it'll end up the same group of people (us mainly) raging on about cyclist, zombie believers and drunks....

Hang on a minute.....:odd:

Part of the reason I stopped using Opera on my phone was the lack of spell check. Combine that with beer and bar WiFi I'm looking at an infraction for sure!

Yes, absolutely true!

Pah! Bring it on!

So like when I knocked my fan over, and spilled hot chocolate on my bed and floor. And flipped out and smashed my fan against the wall many times?
