Messing around with a stapler right now and getting the staple in my finger, It didn't bleed that much but it really 🤬 hurts
 
What Grinds my Gears is that people now consider me to be on the wrong side of the law, this road has a 100MPH limit, the fastest of all the roads on the server.. Look at my speed..

What's grinding my gears is that my sis is farther on Skyrim than me :grumpy:

The game is free to download, but to access all the cars and the online service you'll need to buy an S2 license. It's a driving simulator, much fun when played online. The game was released in 2002 but has been updated every year..

 
Sounds good. I had a look at their website and it mentions racing by nothing to do with cops like in your screenshots. Is that just a thing invented by players?

People who think nascar is boring, easy, and stupid because its just driving in a circle. I really hate when these ingnorant :censored:holes say "they're makin a left turn!" and then everyone laughs. That joke is so overused and people still think its funny. 🤬 all of them!

Well, 2011 has definitely been one of the better years for me, but recently things got worse, much worse...
I count(ed) a lot of girls from my class among my friends. That's because I consider myself a pretty helpful person and I have yet to refuse helping somebody when asked. You'd probably think "hey, that's cool, so where's the rant?" - wait for it, this is where things start to annoy me.
Now I count a girl from my class among my friends that previously had a crush on me. I made clear that I don't reflect her feelings and we have since been good friends. I treat her a bit different (read: better) than other friends of mine due to the fact that I feel kind of guilty for friend zoning her. So I help her on every occasion, life problems, school problems, tech problems.
Actually this is what my help consists of mostly: somebody has a tech / life (boyfriend, parents) / school problem, they ask me, I help. I've never considered this to be annoying or stressful, in fact I'm glad to help.
But all of this giving got me nothing in return, and that's what I'm so majorly upset about...
I'm essentially helping a lot of people, yet on more than enough occasions they treat me like I have been doing them wrong. I get the feeling these people do not think enough before speaking a sentence and do not realize how much words can insult. And I feel insulted a lot... I get silly reactions by these people for completely irrelevant, small, unimportant things, and it actually makes me feel stupid for helping them before...

Example time!

Volleyball! (Past readers of my rants may remember how much I 🤬 love this sport.)
We're playing a match. Girl in front of me is somebody I have helped with tech and also life stuff on numerous occasions. Opposing team serves the ball, she plays it and ****s up. Not a problem, it is just a game, but she shouldn't even have played that ball.
Well, guess what?
She turns around to me and says: "By the way, you do realize you should have been the one playing that ball?"

🤬!

It's just pointless, small and unimportant and it makes me feel bad. She could just have disregarded it, after all it's just a game, but she says such a thing to me of all people.

I hope that example made what I'm trying to express a bit more clear.
She, alongside another girl, has also recently tried to trick our music teacher utilizing my helpfulness. We were supposed to do presentations on Johann Sebastian Bach's life and we were supposed to bring audio examples of musical pieces he has written. The girl she teamed up with was supposed to do the presentation that day, and her being oblivious she forgot to bring her CD with the audio example on it. I had agreed to lend her the CD I brought. I already had a strange feeling when she just took the CDs without a "thank you", but I thought she might do that after the presentation.
Wrong.
She did the presentation, and as usual we were supposed to cite our sources that were utilized to prepare and do the presentation. Now, she wouldn't have needed to cite my CD as a source... but when she finished presentation she left it lying on the teachers desk. As the CD belonged to me I asked her to bring it back. I asked once - no reply. I raised my voice a bit, she answered "yeah yeah yeah, I'll get it later". I asked her to do it right now, in case I need the CD for my presentation (I did not, but that doesn't matter right now). She stood up, rushed to the table, grabbed the CD and threw it onto my table, like "ohmygod I hope the teacher doesn't notice it's not my CD ohmygod quick".
After that lesson, the volleyball girl (see above) confronted me, loud voice and hysterical tone included: "YOU COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT MORE OBVIOUS THAT THE CD IS YOURS, COULD YOU? 🤬".

Boy this is making me mad.

It's her and the special relationship girl (from now on abbreviated as SRG) (see above) that are grinding my gears (to remain faithful to the thread title).
SRG is no different... I even got my self into legally questionable situations for her, yet I get similar reactions from her.

Why are these people so ungrateful?

Steam vent. I feel tired now. Excuse me if this is unorganized, messy and / or seems really unimportant and not worth to be ranted about to you.

I don't share that view, but one of my favourite activities in GT5 is racing Nascars at non oval tracks. I feel the cars are at their best when they're out of their element. Racing Nascars at the Nurburgring is fun. They're big, heavy and powerful. Remind me of 70's race cars, too much throttle and come out the corner sideways. Great fun.

I don't really like racing them on ovals because pd completely missed the drama of Nascar. I hate it when after a few laps, I'm so far in the lead that I'm out of their slipstream. I would love it if PD fixed this as the whole fun of Nascar is running in a pack at high speed. Carving your way through the field not to mention the last lap can be hectic. It reminds me of old F1 at times.

At monza, there was a saying, don't be first into the parabolica. If you are, you won't be first at the finish line. Reminds me of a few occassions when I've lost out at nascar.

That is a custom cruise server. All those objects in the road, and the separate lanes are made with a track editor. The [COP] system is used on the [TC]Citydriving servers, where you must obey the real road rules.. As is the money system.. Great server..

[COP] users are the ones who I need to release the gas near..

So a power cut 15 laps into a 20 lap FGT race in A-Spec blacks out the house last night. That's fine, it happens when 6 heaters are running along with numerous amounts of computer equipment, but what I didn't expect was to boot up the PS3 and be told my hard drive may have corrupted for not shutting down properly.

I waited anxiously for around 10 minutes while it made it's checks and booted up. God, I nearly lost my PS3, and my GT disk is on the way out as well, it fails to get recognised by the system. Funny thing is I've hardly ever taken it out.

I hope all will stay well with my game and I triple backed up my save data just in case.

Nothings actually wrong with your data (probably) when that happens. My game froze while I played New Vegas as usual and it said that. Really annoying because you have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to check files that most likely didn't et corrupted.

Now my cat stole my spot on my bed when I got up to get something out of the oven which grinds my gears.

I tried the demo and it was very fun. But I don't think I'll be buying the license though.
 
For 40cr a minute I rented an FZ5.. This is the fastest car I've driven on the server.. And the fastest one I've used to be on the wrong side of the law..
