Or my friend who didn't like his 2 week old ~£100 Samsung do he put it under his chair leg and smashed the chair down for about 20 minutes. The phone was ruined. And 3 weeks later he had the latest Blackberry. :rolleyes: He's gone through 9 phones in 3 years, I've had 2.

I've had two as well. Probably sent about 2 texts as well. :p

I generally see people that have blackberries to have gotten hungry and found a blackberry... What? It's a phone!? Who in their right mind would call a phone a Blackberry? It's like calling a camera Casserole! Or calling a child Monopoly! Oh well, what ever gets these wasteful children buying their phones.

Speaking of Cell-phones? Do you know what grinds my gears? They can't go through a washing machine and not be broken when they come out! That's how my first phone went. My second one will never break because I just leave it in a drawer because I have no use for it. Do you know what also grinds my gears about phones? Having to Top-up. You pay a ridiculously large sum of money ($10 :p) to be able to send "TEXT MESSAGES" to a friend, and by the time you've managed to have a conversation, you could have physically walked to their house, had the conversation, gotten back home and had a drink! FOR FREE! But no, people spend $100 - $200 a year getting "Top ups." You can't even say something in a particular way to get the right effect in the sentence so it ends up being funny or meaningful. Half of the time if you take more than 10 seconds writing a text you'll rage quit and leave the phone. Or the other person will respond with a single letter out of laziness because they couldn't be bothered typing a full word. You can't read their messages because they are spelt like this! sup u homee g u ^ 2 n e thng 2nyt. THAT IS INDECIPHERABLE!!! Only the writer of that message can read it! SO WHY SAY IT TO SOMEBODY ELSE!!! At least with actually talking to someone they can't shorten words... BUT WAIT!!! THEY DO!! When they actually say, lol or omg! What happened to LAUGHING when someone says something funny. Now they just say ha, lol. tht so funny. Mraaa, if the world can't piece a simple sentence without using acronyms, or saying acronyms as a word. OR CREATING AN ENTIRELY NEW ACRONYM, what's going to happen to the English language in twenty years time! HUH?
 
^Erm, is there a TL;DR version? :p But I get what you're saying. I say something, and he comes back with "k, c u l8er" It took me longer to translate that than to write a reply. Now I just reply with "And in English...?" which usually makes them retype it into English.
 
:lol: They say something to me through the facebook. I just reply English? Then they don't reply again. Then I reply again, fine then, but if you were asking for help I can't give it to you.

Yeah, I'd so love to do that and see all the chilli sauce sticks onto his grubby face. He's too rich anyway so I'm guessing he wouldn't mind going for a face skin treatment after that...

In a time of 3 years I've only had 2 phones, the latest being my Nokia N97m which I bought in July last year while he? I don't know.. Probably hundreds!

I'm not into seriously heavy stuff but as you yourself know from their general thread, I'm a big fan of Maiden and they.. just.. aren't.. scre-Gah! That's ground my gears now.

As have Trenau Arriva Gymru and their substandard timetableing. This platform is cold.
