I always had this feeling that no one has much fun around me, so in many instances I'm left in the shadows.

Someone smoked in the school bathroom today. I walked in and the smell... Ughhhhhhh. The nerve of these kids... There's a police officer patrolling the school all day!

Smoking grinds my gears.

Exercise and working out.

Before I'm flamed for being lazy, I'm a meagre 10st 7lbs, which equals 147lbs/~67kgs. I'm not out of shape, per say. I can't put weight on easily and while I have some definition, it's not much.

I like to at least try and do things like sit-ups and press-ups but I get fed up because I can't manage that many. Yes, I know you're supposed to do more and build up your muscle and stamina but the problem is that I find these exercises incredibly boring. They're so dull and monotonous. I get no enjoyment or pleasure out of them. It's quite frustrating because I know these are the exercises I should be doing in order to give myself some more definition, but I just find them so boring.

I'll stick to jogging. Cardio, cardio, cardio...

The local Tesco 24 hour's tobacco counter being closed grinds my gears.

So you really need two people on the self serve? And the entire army of people on shelf stacking duties. But you can't devote one person to the tobacco counter? Or at the very least, have someone who goes to the tobacco counter when you need it?

Seriously....

Edit: And this is not an invitation to lecture me on the negatives of smoking.

I'm not joking you are the only person I have ever heard who says muscle exercises are boring and cardio is more fun. Cardio is just the exact same thing over and over. Something like push ups you have to focus really hard on keeping your abs tight and be able to go down slow than squeeze your chest muscles as hard as you can on the way up. Pushing to the max to the point where you literally drop to the ground also is fun. To make it more fun you can do 3 sets of a max effort with only 1min rest in between. You will be so out of breath and chest/arms will be so pumped. Also don't worry about how many you can do its all about the deep squeeze with your chest that builds real muscle. I can do 50 in a row easy as fast as I can or 30 with a deep squeeze and get 10x the results with the deep squeeze ones.

Grinds my gears is being randomly tired. It's cold here and that slows me down and I hate having that tired feeling.

Movies where most/all of the characters die at the end.

:grumpy:

It's fine when it's built up that way, but when they're so close to surviving then 'bam' everyone's dead it just kind pisses me off.

What I really hate is movies that have a bittersweet ending. It feels like there's unfinished business, yet it feels like I should be happy at the end. The feeling you get is just weird, and I don't like it one bit.

Oh yeah, and this cold. I wake up with a very sore throat every morning, and it stays slightly sore all day. I've been getting mild headaches on and off, I feel fatigued, and my nose is really bothering me. I keep sneezing, and that always means I'm about to get sick. My nose has that stuffiness to where I can't breathe out of it, and then when it randomly clears up it tingles and stings and makes my right eye water and tear, and I can't sneeze because it's my right nostril more than my left. It looks like half of me is crying, and it happens in school. In school people think I'm crying because they're dumb, and I have to explain it to them what's happening.

Cardio isn't fun, but I don't find it as boring as sit ups or press ups.

I find that a nice jog with some music and fresh air is much more tolerable.

This was worse than bittersweet. Bittersweet can be good if done well, although it's rarely done well. And when I think bittersweet I think movies where the main character or other die but they still accomplish what they set out to do.

This was "bam, everyone's dead and the bad guys keep doing what they were doing." I mean exactly what they were doing in the beginning. An otherwise good movie that throws the ending at the wall for cheap shock value just makes me feel like I wasted my time.

What grinds my gears is that I always forget what I have for homework since I'm to lazy to get out my planner and write it down and instead scribble it down on a sheet of paper and forget where I wrote it down. I think I have homework for German and Science...

Crap just remembered, I have a German test tomorrow. That's not such a big deal except for the fact that I have to remember the articles for the word. That's the only problem.

I see that I'm not the only one that do that

Thankfully I saw the original ending first, but the alternate ending in Clerks did this to me. Really irked about it. After a long day, and most of their problems are solved, a robber comes in and shoots one of the main characters dead after everyone leaves, and the movie ends. :grumpy:

As I said last night. I believe I got scammed from a company in China. Today I called my bank and they gave me a temporary credit for what I spent. I was advised not to spend that money though since I have to wait up to 90 days for a letter to confirm that I was scammed. So I cant spend $70 till I get the letter. :/

Man, that sucks. At least you temporarily got your money back, even thought you can't use it.

My home button on my iPod is all messed up. It either doesn't work the first two times or it brings up the past four apps you used like I double tapped it even though I only hit it once.

Facebook grinds my gears big time. My Fiancee is in Japan now, so we've been using facebook to communicate via private message and video chat. It's now 3:20am here and 12:20 pm in Japan. I'd been waiting up to talk to her when she gets up. I just decided to go to bed, so I went to send her a message. I open the chat menu and find a bunch of messages from her that I wasn't notified of.

She went back offline 35 minutes ago. So thanks to some facebook error, I won't get to speak to her now.

It's a gear grinder when I woke up at 1... Means the whole morning is wasted, totally wasted. Now I feel sleepy again after being awake in almost 2 hours. :grumpy:

^Skype, mate.

We were using skype, but the credit was running out too fast. To be fair, facebook video chat is free and the sound quality is better. I actually recognize her voice.

Edit: Once again I can't sleep. It's now 6:46 am. Another all nighter then. :(

Edit 2: which officially means that the whole day is ruined. 👎

Oh well, How I met your mother is a decent show and my friend loaned me seasons 1-6 can get started on that...

6.46AM isn't that early. I've been up for 1/2 hour, got dressed and had breakfast. Got to leave for school in 35 minutes. That Grinds My Gears...

I think you misunderstood. I haven't slept at all.

Oh, :dunce:! Sorry to hear that. I don't think I could ever get through a whole night without sleeping, I reckon I'd just keel over.

I didn't sleep on Sunday night/monday morning either. Maybe I'll go to bed around 7pm tonight...

I've once done an all-nighter and didn't sleep for 30 hours straight and it was during the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010 and Formula 1 Canadian GP straight after. I just had around 3 hours of sleep... My Monday was ruined and I had school on that day. Seriously, not doing that again. It was terrible!

Well I've done it hundreds of times. Very rarely by choice, but I can understand doing it for the Le Mans 24 hours and Canadian grand prix.

I almost did that in 2011, but I was really tired that day. Woke up to catch the finish though.
