People who say "I didn't do nothing...". In that case they've done everything?
The proper way is "I did nothing..." or "I didn't do anything..."

+1.

Double Negatives are the worst. "ain't" pissed me off too. It's not a proper verb!

I be going on a rant on this one.

Getting out of showers
I hate this with a passion during the winter, even during summer its not always great because it seems you are risking hypothermia every damn time, and the walk out of the shower on the cold floor is less then pleasant too.

Oven Mitts that do nothing
This is pretty self explanatory, I am missing a finger print this morning because I touched an oven grill yesterday through an oven mitt that did absolutely nothing to protect me, no there was not a hole in the mitt.

Slow walkers.
This is pretty self explanatory too.

People who do bizarre 🤬 on public transit.
WHY ARE YOUR SHOES OFF, AND ON THE SEAT BESIDE ME IN THE SUBWAY LADY?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Stupid people in general
The subway train doors are opened, why have you decided this was the best time to tie your shoe? In front of the open doors no less.

Inconsiderate neighbors
It is 11pm on a weekday WHY ARE YOU LETTING YOUR KIDS PLAY IN THE BUILDING HALLWAY!? See alot of stuff like this from middle eastern people in my apt complex...I have nothing against people from the mid eat. one of my best friends is from there and he complains about the exact same thing in this apt complex.

People with an obsession with a race or culture that is not their own.
The "Wapanese" in particular drive me to absolute insanity. I do not need to see "Moshi moshi!" or "こんにちはみんな!^_^" Every time you enter a forum shoutbox while you eat your pocky, knock it off. You are not Japanese, and have a greatly incorrect view of it because you learned all of it from anime. (This is purely obsession based people that get to me, nothing wrong with liking a culture or whatever, I do personally like japan and look forward to going one day.)

TTC (public transit) drivers who use the bus as their errand mobile.
Ya I just got off a 13 hours shift..and have an hour long trip home buddy..you mind NOT stopping the bus to get some bread and doing it off the clock instead? Cause if you do this I WILL be doubling my trip time home cause I will miss a connecting bus and then train that takes forever.

Spelling/grammar Nazis
I know my spelling and grammar suck majorly, its something I have struggled with as long as I can remember and its extremely embarrassing I would prefer you not correcting every damn thing I type, you know exactly what I mean. If you dont know what I mean cause I swapped 2 letters around that says more about you then it does me. ...On a related note...

Firefox spelling correct is garbage.
When I choose to use google as a spell check over you FF & it gives me 1 possible correction to your 6,7,8 and its correct, where is you are not remotely close then something is very wrong.

Mac fanboys
An actual conversation I had not long ago
Me: Huh I can't move my taskbar to the right of the screen...odd...
Them: I dunno what to tell you...
Me: *plays around with it and thinks their must be a lock or something and find it locked when I look in the control panel settings*
Me: Ahh it was locked, I must hit a hotkey I dunno about, oh well its fixed
Them: Lol, that's why Windows sux
Me: Yes Windows sucks because it includes hotkeys, something that is built into EVERY piece of software no matter what OS its running on.

That's all I got for now.

When as soon as I get on something like on my computer, video games etc.(something that I usually do for along time.).
Someone comes into my room and sees me..."how long have you been there!?"
Me:"I just got on"
"yeah sure..."

Basicly, when someone always comes in as soon as I start using something. To them, they think that I've been siting there for hours when I really just got on. And they dont believe me when I say "I just got on!"

When my cousin grinds my gears literally when driving my car. Or at least trying to learn driving my car.

Idiots. (I'm not calling you guys idiots, you're far from it; but I mean idiots annoy me. You know, smoking, swearing, littering, spitting on the street, etc etc)

Mac fanboys

I bought a mac, became a fanboy, and realized later on that I spent $1500 on a computer for WoW, Warcraft 3, general internet dicking around, Facebook, and a bit of photoshop because it has a shiny apple on it.

I could have bought a PC for >$800 instead.

I haven't had any problems with my mac, but I don't imagine I'd have catastrophic problems with a PC because I'm not an idiot.

Thinking about how I'm going to do on the OSSLT Grade 10 literacy test. Some people say it will be easy, others say it'll be hard. I'm nervous, and this whole ordeal is grinding my gears.

More or less exactly what happened with my friend, bought a mac, and then realized most everything he does in the XP install he had on it anyways, only problem was windows crashed repeatedly on the thing when booting. And he did have problems, I think the video card went out on it, and the case itself the corner like..unattached itself or something to that extent.

But I mean stuff like that conversation I had above just unwarranted Windows hate with false information, that really gets me. I could go on and on about the reasons I dislike Macs though so I wont carry on cause it will be huge XD.

Ouch! Poor car... but 👍👍👍 for being such a good family member! Those types of actions usually pay off down the road, at least.

That's why I stick to automatics - I don't intend to learn to drive standard unless I'm pretty much forced to...

But people who let their cars roll waaaaay back in traffic before getting into gear annoy me - I'm paranoid they're going to back into me or something...

Nice rant.

1. Wholeheartedly agree 100000%

2. Sorry about that. I do it for a living. (English teacher)
Capital G for Google as it's a name and don't has a ' in it and .............sorry dude I'm just screwing around. :scared:

3. That drives me mad especially because mine is set on American English and not Standard English, the latter in which I am well versed, and I find myself questioning my own knowledge of the language!:ouch:

Here's one. They say on forums that you should use the search function to make sure your questions haven't already been asked. Well, I'm part of a car forum, and I've tried searching for "mpg" and "oil change". The bad news is, unfortunately, they won't search for words that are less than 4 letters long! I found a work-around, but come on!

Sometimes if you search for small words, it could bring tons of results. Though its a good idea to put keywords than a whole sentence.

Definitely, I really do hate slow walkers. Sometimes when I'm in hurry there's always somebody in front of me walking really slow! In fact, I walk as if I run  Even worse is this. When I got off an escalator there's always a person in front who walk slowly, unsure where to go and stop in front of the escalator. I don't know what else to say but that was really dangerous and an idiotic thing to do.

About grammar Nazis, well I really do like them. Makes me learn what I did wrong. In fact, in your sentence alone (bolded it) you've made a mistake. It should be ''don't'' with a - ' - otherwise it's just a word without a meaning to some. This forum is like a one of a kind, and nothing ever like this out there. I used to have a real lazy grammar like ''Wat r u doing 2moz evenin?'' before I got here and now everything has changed dramatically! You should be thankful at least there's somebody to correct your mistake and learn from it for your own good. I've been through this ;)

Besides that, I 100% agree with the Mac fanboy thing... I don't know what's so special about Mac but that's about it, no need to bash other products. I've been using Windows based system for years and years and rarely had problems until earlier this year where I have to reformatted my laptop after it being struck by an unknown virus - my mistake for not using any Anti-Virus software...

Macs... I have to use one at school, because the college obviously has an Apple only policy. Yet they have to be dual booted with Windows because the majority of the programs we use don't work on Mac OS. On paper they seem like really powerful systems, until you try to do anything graphic intensive, and they chug worse than my 4 year old dual core. The power cords also fall out if you so much as look at the tower, and you could fry an egg on the monitors. Seriously, I've never been in a computer lab where the air conditioning needed to be on in the middle of January.

I also love that all of their screensavers are dynamic Apple ads, and that the college reccomended that we buy Mac Book Pros. Some people were stupid enough to follow this, and then found out 3 weeks in that they needed to go buy Windows to do anything, and that they could've literally saved 1000+ dollars by buying a PC.

Y'know college is expensive enough without the school suggesting the most expensive solution they could think of, just to keep their buddies at Apple happy.

TTC (public transit) drivers who use the bus as their errand mobile.

Hehe... really eh? That's interesting. The TTC isn't perfect (I'm just lucky to be able to ride GO trains for my commute) but I've never had that happen to me nor have I heard about it happening to anyone. I could totally believe it though! Bus drivers in T.O. are VERY impersonal I find, at least in my experiences.

Macs... I have to use one at school, because the college obviously has an Apple only policy.

Wow... remind me not to go to your college!:dunce: I feel bad for you - how come you have to use a Mac? I've never heard of that being implemented before anywhere. That's actually sort of Big Brother-ish... you might be able to fight it if you were feeling entrepreneurial though, depending on the reasoning your school has for that policy. It'd almost be worth it....

I can think of 3 buses off the top of my head where it happens very often, Kennedy when it makes the turn around from steeles, Queen Street Car right at a major intersection. And the bus I used to take from work..I cant remember the name of it..and only 1 of the drivers did it...they had 2 or 3 drivers I think on that route but this 1 black guy did it every day. I ended up reporting him multiple times I was so fed up with it.

Hmmm, OTHER PEOPLE'S BIRTHDAYS, they get money stuff and you don't. Selfish meanies

What really pisses me off is when I am stuck at a really long traffic light, I look over and see a pedestrian spamming the crosswalk button like some traffic God will notice this supreme being at the crosswalk and halt traffic. Press it once or twice and that's it!

What grinds my gears is feeling so, so bored! Then feeling lost...in your own house. I'm very tired, and can't sleep. Meanwhile I keep trying to keep my head up and be happy, but I have nothing to be happy about. So now I'm sad, which makes me very, VERY ANGRY. Thus it grinds my gears .

If you have problems with cramp, the best way to get rid of it is to use the accupressure point to stop it. Place your thumb (nail side in) under your top lip as far up as possible, then squeeze the space between your septum and top lip as hard as you can with your index finger middle knuckle. You might look like a berk, but it gets rid of the pain quickly.

When you're pulling a bit of loose skin off of your finger, and you end up pulling off a piece about 3 inches long and it stings like 🤬.

Wow. Did no one else notice this?

What grinds my gears is standardized tests. The 11th graders are taking them and my schedule's all jacked up and I don't even take them!

-Being sick

-When I have work I don't want to do.

I'm a fan personally. Why? Because I can keep my happy ass out of school those days.

My stupid school's lat e start system.

We usually start at 8.35 right. But on Wednesdays it's 8.50, and I still have to arrive at school at 8.00, because I catch a bus since I live a 2 hours walk away. And I have to freeze my butt off since the teachers are too selfish to let us in the classrooms for warmth, and then they're in the staff room with their heaters quietly laughing at us.

And then my stupid bus driver takes 20-30 minutes longer after school than my old one. And he takes even LONGER when it's wet (old bus driver was opposite, because he cares if students get sick due to waiting for him to arrive.

And also, if the new bus driver takes 35 minutes when it's dry, when it's pouring with rain what will happen :scared:

Whenever I see stuff about Justin Bieber and/or Rebecca Black. But JB is a worse case, it gives me a strong urge to troll. Rebecca is just meh. She had her haters already...

... while Justin Bieber still sucks.

What Grinds My Gears (Part 7. I think): -People who deliberately cause awkward moments between you and someone else. -Annoying people from grade 9 who follow you constantly, and don't get the hint you want nothing to do with them. If you're a fine looking girl I don't mind. But when you're so big that even Ray Charles can see you, or you can jump in the air and have objects orbit around you. No, please don't bother me.

This girl in my form who thinks she's more important than the queen.
My geography teacher who stops videos we are watching every 30 seconds.
Weirdos who say 'you have no friends' as I'm having a conversation with my FRIENDS and he's stood on his own.
Weighs who hug you, and my ex who decides to poke my arm for an ENTIRE hour long lesson.

You know what DOESN'T grind my gears? Being able to stay home from school tomorrow because I have to get vaccines.

I just ruined all yall's' day.

Being a teenage male = insane car insurance payments

Now, math isn't my best subject by surly this has to be wrong??
