It grinds your gears that using correct grammar can get you banned? I'm sorry correct grammar, spelling and punctuation makes things easier for everyone else to read your posts....

What grinds my gears? Porsche in 1996 ruining GT1 racing with their 911 GT1....We missed out on such rockets as the Ferrari F50 GT:

Because, I dont always put periods or commas.

The mods aren't automatic detecting and automatic banning robots mate. :)

Usually people tolerate stuff like "copy this status to blah blah blah..." but I consider this as spam, and spam grinds my gears.

I believe it's because of the infamous loophole of limited-run road cars for their GT1 cars. I dunno which manufacturer started all the fad though, but if it's Porsche themselves, you may have a point.

I don't think it's the odd typo here and there that'll cause the mods to frown on you.
I think it's those of us that are native speakers, whom perpetually have a disregard for those that are not, and, can only make sense of what we say when given in proper English. Just my theory. Also it's a bi*ch trying to understand folks that use text speak when one isn't quite well acquainted with it.

And on the Porsche GT1 rant, yes it was Porsche, then Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Nissan, and Lotus (at least those are the ones I can think of).

Porsche in 1996, Mercedes and Lotus in 1997, Toyota and Nissan in 1998/99.
 
Nissan was '97 and '98, they had a LMP for '99.
 
I hate it when my motivation to do stuff just slips away and then I end up lazy, aimlessy browsing places like this forum...
 
When I go somewhere to get and/or do something and I completely forget. I just stand there racking my brains for what I should be doing...

Been there. I go pick up some stuff at a shop, instead of writing it down I always say I'll remember it, and so forgetting half of the things.

Yeah I always write a list if I can't remember the items I need that well.

I don't really have to remember if it's building a computer. It's pretty easy for me to tell what I need and what works together. Of course knowing what CPU is best for what calls for research and is not easy to retrieve information from the brain when and if I know. PC tech always changes so you have to keep up with the curve.
 
Turning on the computer, use for a few hours, then turn it off. Start my PS3, then realize I had to search for something on the Internet. Rinse and repeat.
 
What Grinds my Gears? My parents, my family. All of them I swear are mentally challenged. They are so stupid!
 
This really grinds my gears:
When Im at a stoplight and some Honda pulls up beside me and revs the little Piece of crap D16 to 7500RPM like I want to hear a squirrel dying.
And actually think Im going race some car that has no chance of beating me
 
Fighter Jets.

They fly over your house at the odd hours of night doing their practice runs or whatever making a huge amount of unnecessary noise that i'd rather not hear late at night. Our government needs to spend some money on air police so I can file a noise complaint on those damn things.

What a plum (not you, the other guy). Really, though, you could have just reported the posts and left the thread alone which would have left Mr. Plank by himself with nobody to argue with.

I just did, but I was really trying to show him that I was trying to help. I left it alone once he started flaming C_C and just being unreasonable. That was a time I wished I was a mod and could have closed that up and slapped a week long ban on him. Thanks for taking my side guys, good to know people know what's acceptable :).

EDIT: The guy still has the nerve to say its my fault when Mitch and JaiAE86 come to my defense. Unbelievable :lol:.

That guy has no sense of respect whatsoever, he'll get what's coming to him when a mod reads that thread CAMjhr, I stand at your defense.
