What grinds my gears right now?

[beware of tl;dr]

Good bud of mine who lately got dumped by his now ex-girlfriend is starting to make a big fuss about women.

He's really squeezing out his opportunities, often failing but never losing confidence in himself. That ain't a bad thing, actually that's what I like about him.

But now he's starting to act up. He boasts about his female contacts more and more, and today he crossed the line.

I have a friend that I know since elementary school, we lost contact for a few years and now she found me via Facebook and the likes and we started meeting again, renewing our friendship. Now of course my bud knows her too, since he was in my elementary school class too. So he recently started chatting with her as well. As stated previously he's currently really squeezing out his opportunities, that applies to her, too.

Well, she's pretty annoyed by that, but she won't tell him straight. Still, my bud goes on and on about how he wants to meet her, so she tries to evade the topic and tells him about what she's doing tomorrow.

You'd expect him to realise that he's taking it too far, nope. He lives near the train station, and as she usually takes the train to wherever she's going she told him about that too.

Quick switch to my perspective: Not long ago, while still chatting with her, my bud messaged me, telling me about her and how they're going to meet up tomorrow. I don't know of the whole situation yet, so I congratulate him.

At the same time I start chatting with her, and she tells me she's currently messaging with my bud. Out of curiosity I ask about that date tomorrow, but she doesn't know anything about any date. So I tell her what my bud said, and she says she's never told him anything about a date or something like that.

Turns out my bud made up that whole situation after being told by her that she's frequenting the train station, smelling the opportunity to catch her after hopping off the train.

Just to boast about it.

Now I don't know what that sounds like to you (the people that actually read the whole post), but I think it's pretty 🤬 pathetic.

Sorry if this seems really unorganized, but I needed that steam vent quickly.

See you around,

Right now my phone/ear buds are grinding my gears. I have an android phone (incredible 2) and iPod/iPhone ear buds with the little controller on it. They worked before (as in the remote control) but now they don't! Any help would be appreciated too.

Also, the controller will work with my iPod still.

Ouch, my eyes! No Corvettes, Vipers, anything North American that isn't a pickup truck?

Nope. ;( The kid in the club showed him filming his friend flying down a public road in a Mustang drag racing against an SRT4. :odd:

And they had a really cheap Toyota van thing doing a burnout which I thought was kind of funny but I think the kid did it too. O_o

That's a terrible club. But at least you have one. :(

I think your friend doesn't want to be the person in a rebound relationship. If he has just recently broke up then he is probably missing the feeling. If it has been awhile, your old classmate and him probably should of never met. ( Who knows, sometimes I would catch myself like that and just continuing on what I want to do than just flirting with some girls) ( Its not a bad thing to do but some people have to be alone for a purpose.)

Wow, really? That's just stupid. Would it ruin your friendship if you just told him straight up that you think he's ignoring the signals and that this girl thinks he's a creep? He needs to find out somehow.

All of these posts I feel for, a lot I can relate to, the most being rednecks. Here in derkaderg pennsylvania of sorts, there's tons of rednecks that see ANY import that isn't a supercar as a ricer. Really annoying. I wish I had as much money for a car as one of the kids with a $30,000 mustang or camaro so I could build a $30k 300 or something to put them in their place, although they would probably get drunk and just end up vandalizing it.

What's grinding my gears? My girlfriend. It's worked out now, but we both go to German club after school (looks good on a transript and I get food) and I could tell she wasn't in a good mood. Now, she isn't the type to be a dumb stereotype of a teenage girl and text all the time and stuff, but today, she was being a bitch to me because her day wasn't the best, even though nothing bad even happened. At first I thought it might even be towards me, because she was constantly texting, and a good guy friend next to her was texting her and they're laughing, then I try asking if anything's going on, and she just says no. No explaination, just no. She wouldn't talk about it either. Then we both had to leave, so we started walking down the hall. I got her to just say something like she's just in a bad mood, then my mom called to come pick me up. I was on the phone for about a minute, and my girlfriend just walks away to ger locker, right up the stairs. It was really unlike her. I then called to her, and she waited, and when I caught up, I just flat out asked what the h*** is the matter? Took a few minutes, but she finally just said it's not me and just a bad day, so it wasn't too bad. It just really puts me in a bad mood.

People who ask stupid questions.

Yesterday when we were in the exam room, waiting for the exam to start, a girl asked. "Are you ever going to cut your hair? Because if you don't it's going to be going up your bum when you have a shower." So my answer... "No, I'm not going to cut it, I'm going to let it grow up my butt and out my mouth." (Notice the sarcasm) Have you ever heard of that thing called trimming hair, I did it recently... If someone's going to ask a stupid question then they will get a stupid answer.

O ya man my stupid gym iPod ear phones are slightly messed up too. Not like your problem, but you know how the iPod earphones are basically circular and there a gray rubber around them. That rubber is completely gone. I haven't noticed any discomfort, but it grinds my gears so much seeing it gone. Worst is my good ones for my iPhone with the little switch thing are also happening on one of them.

The fact I have a 1st break detention because some idiot decides to shout obscenities to our tutor out the window while we were waiting to go into French. We'd been let out of tutor early so it was about 10 other people and some kid who wasn't even meant to be there...

My cat chewed my iPod pair, then I bought a 20 dollar pair with those annoying earbuds you have to shove in your ear and never stay in, left those out on my nightstand for one night, wake up, notice they're gone, look on the floor, destroyed by the cat. Got a cheap $5 pair from GameStop with those earbud things again, had them for a few days, and one headphone falls off. ._.

Lesson-Hide headphones from cats. Mine chewed through two pairs before I learned my lesson, one was a decent $30 sony pair.

Even better lesson: Never get cats, and instead get a dog.

Doing laps? :dopey: at 3am?

The cat is, not me. :nervous:

She hooked my chin earlier today. Wasn't too happy about that. Was out of anger more then playfulness. :grumpy: And took a good bite on my cheek, it hurt for like half an hour.

Get the ones where the cable wraps around the ear so they don't fall out so easy. And a cat proof box.

When a storm rolls through in the middle of the night and you only hear 1 clap of thunder... and it just so happens to be from a lightning strike 50 ft. away that knocks out power just long enough to make sure nobody's alarm clock wakes them up at the right time (college dorms/apartment complex).

:grumpy:

For me right now, freakin' PETA. They are complaining that Mario shouldn't be able to wear this suit because it's made from a raccoon skin. It's a video game for God's sake. Do these people really have no life and must yell at a video game company for a imaginary character wearing a animal skin? Geez. (Sorry, I had to vent a bit.)

EDIT: I just read that it was a joke. Some joke that it was. These people really need to get a life.

Just remembered another. This stupid kid in my Facebook non stop talks about dubstep. All his post are dumb dubstep related things. It's not like concerts or new music it will be like normal things and he try's to relate it to dubstep to be cool. To be fair I hate this guy lol so everything he does is annoying, but this like this is why.

Can't you hide people, or just delete them altogether?

What grinds my gears is seeing young 15/16 yo girls in the afternoon walking around with their perfectly healthy baby when the kid was probably an accident and the fact my auntie is a few days away from death (Motor Neurone Disease) and leaving her 3 year old daughter all alone in the world....

Life sucks 👎

Immoderate people grind my gears. Today the MLPRG was nearly disbanded because of one guy who thought a sweary spam threat was an appropriate way to respond to bronies entering our (open) group. He is no longer one of us, and I'm currently suggestion the addition of Group Moderator functionality so people like that can be removed even when the founder is offline.

I once again apologize on behalf of the group for that guy's actions.

 You guys are hilarious. I love the fact that ponies bother you so much. I feel like starting my own group and calling it the 'Group Resistance Group'.

Bloody splitters....
