I read S40 and immediately thought, "Volvo".

I'm guessing it was to do with iPhones though, correct?

Yeah, it's about comparing Nokia's S40 OS used in Nokia Asha 303 and iOS used in iPhones. Obviously, they're far from being a competitor and the guy was commenting about the S40 OS being utterly rubbish to the iOS and Android. What a guy... What, a guy.

You and food just don't work well together do they?

Hopefully you know where your fiancée is...

Well I managed to successfully apply for the certificate I need. So that's a plus. Just need to take my birth certificate with me on the day I pick it up. 👍

After that, it's onwards to Japan and my wedding. 👍.

Now, onto my current gear grinder. Diarrhea. Especially as it's happening right before I'm going to eat Indian food. Love the stuff, but usually when I eat it, it's the other way round.

Nice man! Haha contras on getting married

Got parents evening tonight. 👎 We only had a report a christmas, dunno how we could change in 3 weeks...

Yikes, ours is on Thursday, at least I don't have to go with them.

I have to go, it's compulsory. :(

What's a parents evening anyway? Like a parent/teacher conference?
Yeah, where we speak with the teachers about how we're doing. Scariest night of the year. I guess you don't have them across the pond...

We do, but only if we are failing.

Most of them are over the phone though. Like when I had a 55% in Academic Math.

That's not too bad. A mate of mine got 37% in our end of year maths test. :ouch:

I was considering it but eh, I don't like staying after school. I'm just gonna drop to practical alg. I don't know why I failed so badly, last year my final average was an 89 in math. You should see my quizzes and test folder, I'm pretty sure there's one d and the rest are Fs. :irked:

Also Jai what do you mean? By my parents or by the teacher?

Jai
Do you guys get shouted at if you get a question wrong or struggle with the work in maths?

Me? No.

I get yelled at if I am drawing cars though.

I had a drawing of a tricked-out Chevrolet Cavalier ripped up before. Was not happy.

The last time a teacher ripped up one of my drawings, I just walked straight out of the class without even saying a word. Didn't bother me afterwards :sly:

Gear grinder: Forgot there's school tomorrow so happened to stay up late. Oh boy, waking up at 5:30am is going to be a pleasure :dunce:
