What is grinding my gears is my depression lately.. Although it is commonplace to be reported, so I won't go into detail.

Hypercorrection when it comes to what schools I went to. I went to Primary School and High School. I did not go to 'Secondary School'.

I entered Golftyn County Primary School in 1997, midway through Year 2 and was there until 2002. Then I was at Connah's Quay High School until 2007.

What is correct, is that they were, respectively, primary and secondary education institutions. Certainly, my high school was not an institute of higher education. But the names of my schools were Primary School and High School. Not secondary school.

A trivial gear grinder, but a grinder none the less.

So, I technically haven't gone to either a Secondary School or High School. I go The Marlowe Academy. Which, judging by today's results, is a pile of 🤬. As we're 6th from the bottom.

What Grinds My Gears is that my mum's in hospital having an operation and there have been complications. :( So she might have to stay overnight. I'm very worried...:nervous:
 
Hope you don't mind me asking, but what is she having an operation on? When my Mum was in the hospital from a car accident, there were complications. She was fine though :)

I don't know precisely, but it's to do with her cancer treatment.

What grinds my gears is that the GTP app is down. I have to use Safari.

Thanks. :) The app is working fine for me BTW...
 
I just shut it off for the third time and the app is working. Safari isn't to bad but it's a lot easier to post on the GTP app.

It's breast cancer. And we've had a call from the hospital, she's going to stay overnight, so we're just going off to visit.

It is indeed. I lost a close friend to cervical cancer just a few weeks ago, so I have firsthand experience of what it can do. She went from appearing to be in good health to death in about 45 days.

That sucks. I hope she's allright, and I hope you and your family are too. I've had many family members die from cancer, I know what you're going through. :(
