I have been saving for quite a while. I have been brought up in a way that I don't know of any of the stuff that shouldn't be known at my age anyway. Money can really expand if you save it, gather up loose change, and after 6 months tip it all into one of those machines that will convert the hundreds of pennies into Dollars. I did this, and it turns out I had £60 in total after cashing it all in.

Don't those machines charge you? Your bank won't. Well my bank don't.

I'm not too sure, but I imagine they do..

I won't use a bank, as I have like 1000 Pennies lying around..

The girl from high school who never liked you as much as you liked her still occasionally haunts your dreams 5 years on.

A very gearworthy grind.

When GTP randomly crashes and opens another app.

It does that to me too. Basically the app crashes, and you are at the home screen, but you can't see it, so as you tap randomly (like you do when your app crashes for the umpteenth time) you click another app you can't see.

You on iOS?
Android for the win! I have had 2 GTP crashes that's it! But I have an iPod Touch too.

No I mean it literally turns black a second and I don't touch anything and it'll open up an app on the next page. It's weird.

IOS is better. :P I have an Android phone though, and I have to say it crashes less.

That's what I meant, but if you're not touching the screen then that is odd.

People who think the iPhone is the best phone ever grinds my gears.

People that don't understand what's the best for one may not be for another. Those that try to pass their opinions off as the gospel. ;)

You know what? I agree.

The levels some women go to in terms of dressing up or wearing make up is embarrassing and laughable. They look like clown hookers. I find it a real problem, if this is what women think is attractive.

Yeah. To be honest, I'm not a fan of makeup either.
Edit: Remembering what I came in here for in the first place.

My 🤬 mum has lost my birth certificate. I normally give her important things for safe keeping. I remember giving the birth certificate to her when I came back from Canada. I need the birth certificate for the 8th to pick up my marriage licence, I asked her for it two weeks ago and she came back to me today saying "I don't have it".

She 🤬 does. So now, if she doesn't find it, I have to go to the registrars in Edinburgh to buy a copy 🤬

Is it expensive?

What Grinds My Gears? I'm a hypochondriac, as noted by my I'm a Little Worried Now thread. I've always had a fear of having something dangerous, such as Liver Disease, Heart Disease, all these things. In Fourth Grade I read a book and a guy had a Heart Attack in the book. That sent me into a worry for about two weeks. Then when I went slightly over the Acetaminophen limit for every 9 Hours (Just barely) I started worrying I was going to have Liver Failure, despite not showing a hint of symptoms. Then last night there was some sort of paper stuck to a piece of bread and I accidentally ate it, which sent me worrying for about 20 Minutes. I think the only thing that is really wrong with me is my paranoia about having diseases.

You need to do more dangerous things. Then you can worry about having fun killing you and some dreaded illness.

If I get terminally ill. I'll be looking to set speed records. If I crash and die, better going fast then lying in hospital.

Seriously though. Find some extreme sport or activity.

Not really, but it'll basically take up one of the few days I have left in the UK. It's cost me aroud $50-60 to make the trip and get the certificate.

That sucks. So your never going back to the UK?

Oh, for work? Your gonna have to go to the Canadian GP! :sly:

Well I have found an easy, but expensive way of emigrating to Canada, so we're working on that. I was in Canada for last years Canadian GP, but I didn't go. A friend of mine was visiting Montreal that weekend. She went to the isle Notre-Dame during raceday, but she was only there for sightseeing and didn't even pay attention to the race.

When friends you actually know don't respond to a simple yes/no question over text or PS3.

I hate that. I text my friend if whe wants to play Battlefield. No response.

Sure, I've got money now, aged 20 but you guys are 14; you've only just discovered what Playboy is. You shouldn't have that much money. I ha sod all at that time. Mind you, I never once got pocket money growing up.

Bah. These young kids and their money, that grinds my gears! How times change.

I think we (you, me and others who grew up with no pocket money) were lucky to not have money. We made our own fun, instead of buying electronics and sitting indoors all day, and probably appreciated things that were bought for us more.

Who wants the worry that money brings with it? Not me, but unfortunately i'm an adult and I need money to live. I don't understand why the modern generation of kids need/want all this... stuff. They have belongings by the shedload, but seemingly very few skills or talents to go with them!

Back on topic - slipping over and hitting your head on the cold, wet ground.

And they put a 1 word answer in the message and not the subject so you have to open it. :grumpy:

Even worse is when they're online on PS3 so you know that they're there.

That means he doesn't.
Maybe but it'd be nice if they at least said no.

Yea. :grumpy:.

Gears are ground today because I miss my friends. Many went to a different high school. They no longer talk to me. They weren't the best friends toward the end but they were at one point.

It's the same here. I had a really good friend at Primary School, but we went to different Secondary Schools, so I haven't seen him for over 2 years. :(
