👍 If a film has no explosions, then its no good for me. They could've added a couple of kilos of C4 in the bow of the ship...:D

Any film that has romance doesn't gell with me, they always make me cringe.

Really? I thought that the romance in Titanic was quite cute.

Please hand your man card in at the door on your way out.

'Cute' would certainly be the wrong adjective in every case and Titanic is a poor film, but I do like films such as The Man In The Iron Mask. That's a great film.

OK I promise I will. Maybe it's because it's coming up to Valentines day

See, that was your chance to redeem yourself, but the way you accepted defeat... You have much to learn young padawan. I hereby suspend your man card until the 15th. :sly:

What really grinds my gears is that the last few youtube adverts I've encountered have been unskippable. And no, I'm not in the market for mascara. Thanks.👎

Valentines day means nothing to me. Probably because I have nobody to be my valentine...:(

Yeah, I know but I am not that tough and I'm really a big softy

As for the youtube ads, just use adblock

Neither do I but I have bought someone chocolates and a card. :)

I bet I'm more of a softy than you! :P

Well Valentines day will be delayed a few days for me.:grumpy:

The man card is your birth right. Stand up for it and next time you won't get a suspension. ;)

I have watched way too many episodes of How I met your mother recently...

My computer is starting to groan with the signs of old age. Don't want to stick the final nail in the coffin by having another program constantly running.

Good luck with that. 👍

How so?

Ah OK, interesting. I certainly will.

I don't watch it.

Ah right it does take up quite a lot of your speed, I will admit. It really works though and has saved me so many hours on youtube.

Good luck with that. 👍

Can't you just say that? Why must you make fancy cards and buy fancy presents.

Well obviously the holiday has been exploited for commercial purposes. Still, I think it's a good idea. When you have someone in your life that you love, then you'll understand.

I agree with this point/these points but I'm not a fan of St.Valentine's Day either. If someone in your life is that special, you shoudn't need a certain day in which to demonstrate that.

Do it everyday, or whenever your heart feels best.

I agree. I do special things for my fiancee on a regular basis. It may be slightly forced from a social point of view on Valentines day, but I still do it.

I get told by my female friends that "It's weird how you don't have a girlfriend" and "There's someone around the corner for you". (First said to me 5-6 years ago as a 14 year old).

I've only ever been myself. That's all anybody can ever ask.

Valentine's Day certainly grinds my gears. Girls expect that since it's a special day they will get treated even better and get chocolate and whatever else, but it's just so stupid. If you love someone, just like MazdaPrice said, buy them stuff randomly, show your love randomly, because being forced to kind of ruins the purpose. I could see if there was something going on between two people who aren't dating or haven't told each other, maybe even unsure if the other likes them to use it as a day to let them know, but for couples it is stupid, and I feel like it just makes those who are single hate it even more, maybe why I always hated the crap out of it.

I'm kind of relieved when I don't get a card from my 'secret lover' because if you really love someone, you tell them, not send stupid cheesy cards to them...

In a business standpoint, you will make more money for selling something simple like Chocolates or teddy bears.
