What happens when your car runs out of fuel?

Has the actually happened to anybody? I have been flashing red on the fuel gauge but never actually stopped because of it...

You run around at 50mph.

I believe it'll be the same as in GT4 - you slow down to about 80kph and get forced into the pits when you get near them 👍

I ran out a couple of times during the Indy 500 through not paying attention whilst I was using the PIP function on my TV. Didn't matter though in the Formula GT.
