What have you done to your car today?

My Accord about a week ago. The only performance mods so far are an SRI, 2" Magnaflow muffler (to fit oem), and removal of the resonator (straight pipes from the cat). Once it's running again, I'll have to capture the sound from outside the car.

Part of a 42-mile lap I try to run at least once a week. I'd have been on it harder if it weren't for the pads and bearings I still need to put on.

Trying to drive an automatic quickly has got to be one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to do in a car. It just doesn't do what you need it to.

This was actually on Saturday, but I installed my clutch pedal in preparation for my manual swap. Looks weird with 3 pedals when the middle one is massive.

i got that for $275(used)
Im unsure if its permanent and if its not i think ill be able to resell it for a higher price

True dat. I love autos for daily driving, but there have been multiple times when it downshifts at exactly the wrong time. And in the mountains, it's doesn't go down when I want it to. When I eventually get the H22A1 Prelude VTEC, it'll come with a manual (and an LSD!). It'll be sitting around should I ever decide to install it. But again, I'm not a fan of manuals for driving in traffic.

+1 for economy

Still just a little unsure how much it clashes with the 80s vinyls....But ya i pointed out little things that i thought was wrong with it. Nothing industrial grade paint thinner doesn't fix:sly: cause the guy had painted parts of it blue.
The previous owner of my 240sx painted the radiator red.

That doesn't sound too much unlike my car, below the VTEC crossover.

I wasn't planning on posting this here, but oh well...Me and my cousin.

In HD if you go to the Youtube page.

Sounds nice 👍. Looks like a great road as well, too bad it's so busy.

I was looking at your Si, following the link in your sig. The GTO, man... so sad to see that. I hope everyone was alright.

cool thread i must say! ummm today i scraped extra weight out of the trunk/trunk lid. next move smaller wheels 17's are pointless on a Honda and my DA9 has no use for them. and i'm looking to remove the rear seats which is way easier than one would think.

got springs, swaybars, and alignment by Muellerized Suspension Systems

Header with 2.5" collector and outlet installed. Got to decide on which resonator and muffler I want to add then finish the rest of the system.

Removed the broken bits; would've taken a picture of the finished job, but it was cold and dark by the time we finally wrestled the radiator out. Expect one tomorrow. I'll spend the day cleaning out as much of the engine bay as I can, while I'm waiting on parts/money for parts.

This entire support bracket; the two horizontals on each side (left bent), two center verticals, and lower center horizontal (there's another that goes across the top of the radiator); can all be bought as one. Luckily I know a welder.

... and that explains the intermittent steering wheel vibrations the car's had since I've owned it. Figured it was, but now I may as well fix it.

Replaced the radiator hoses today. Tomorrow I'll be able to order that support piece.

I took my car in to have the timing belt replaced. Yeah, many people can do that themselves, but I'm not sure enough of my own abilities to try something that critically important.

Damn, no wonder carpartswholesale's prices are so low. They kill you in shipping! The support bracket alone is $66. Shipping + handling? $134!!! It's not so bad on the smaller parts, but holy balls!

Yep. Happens when girls go get drunk, then get mad, and go driving the hell out of the car to release the anger. It wasn't even outside of town and they stuck it in a ditch. Her parents bought her another one, after first getting a Solara convertible. She didn't like that as much as the GTO so they got her another identical one...:dunce:

Not today...
But on the weekend it got a bit closer to the ground.

New outer tie rod ends + KYB AGX + Tein S Tech (Both slightly used) + 4 wheel alignment.

It feels about a thousand percent better to drive.
I was keeping pace with some folks on R-Comps at an autocross on Sunday, despite being on Azenis. I'm very happy with the car right now.

I, however, think I've got a bad balljoint on the FL corner of the car... It clunks when I go over speed bumps. It used to occasionally, now it's every time. Must fix that...

Stance of the car looks downright awesome. Someone send me a camera so I can get pics.

The radiator support came today. Ordered from US Auto Parts instead of Car Parts Wholesale (saw one good review vs one bad review at CB7Tuner.com... why not). Same exact price, and the site looks identical. Got new hoses Sunday as well.

New owner plans to put a 454 in her, and make her a cruiser..

Man it hurt alot to see her go.. I nearly cried. :nervous:

New radiator and cap from Advance Auto. I'm cleaning off the sole surviving cooling fan before putting it back on. If I can get my friend to weld the rad support on this weekend, I should be able to drive it down to the junkyard to pick up the other fan, the headlight, hood latch, and possibly a hood (forget cf for now; $600 after shipping. I'll have to ask around to see if a parts store or someone can order one for me) and engine mount after my next payday.

First, I finally found a place to mount the ICM and this is where it's going. I don't have to lengthen the wiring with this and is almost in the same spot as previously.

Here are the brake lines along with the unions already installed onto the lines.
I removed the rubber earls markers as they were not letting me mold the cables like I wanted.
I also picked 10 and 12 inch lengths which worked out perfectly.

Here's the reflared lines that I did and awaiting their new hoses.

Here's the final setup and routing of the brake lines.

Now I've just got to bleed them through and hopefully get no leaks from anywhere.
