Ok, I was using Google Image search to find a few pictures of landmarks in England for a school report.
Something caught my eye, and it was just weird. (It was an eBay auction!!)

Something tells me that, that is a fake.

Oh, do you have a link to the aution page, I'd like to see what he say's about this.

Oh, and you can buy million pound, dollar and Euro note's for a few quid each, you can't use them in the shops or banks for anytihng .

Yeah, well....Montgomery Burns has the world's only billion-dollar bill.

Those other bills seem to reek of cheese. But not the good kind.

Some miss-infored person created it, all the notes int hat collection have it on them, probably ro do with the collection. The USA was founded in 1776, the year America declared their independance. The USA was never part of the British empire, at least not in the guise of the USA, the colonies that were there, were.

I believe the point is to show what our money would look like if America lost the Revolutionary War.
And what's this? The US made it to Mars and colonized it? Why was I not informed of this?

Just out of morbid curiousity, what landmarks of England did you use?

We have Charles Darwin on our most common bank note (the £10 note...) Maybe they should stick him on some US currency :sly: 💡

I used the Big Ben clock (that's it right?) and Stonehenge. I just needed a few pictures that weren't to big. The report wasn't completely on the landmarks, but they were included.

Everyone calls the clock tower "Big Ben", but "Big Ben" is actually a bell inside.

I was thinking you might end up using the Millennium Stadium, Giants' Causeway and Edinburgh Castle...

The Giant's Causeway its actually pretty cool, but thats in the UK, not England itself, right?

Famine, old chap, just how the bloody hell do you know all of this?
Do you fancy ye as a walking encyclopedia?
Because, no doubt that you are!
Toodle-o, off to have a spot of tea with some mates.

As are the other two... (Northern Ireland/Scotland for Giants' Causeway, Scotland for Edinburgh Castle and Wales for the Millennium Stadium) - it was a little gag about the stereotype of the US and world geography... :D

But you passed. Damn...

Yup. I think.

Today the Geography teacher decided to do a lesson about Germany. Oddly enough, the day before, I was writing up a few sentences in German for the Language Arts teacher. I don't know why she let me write them in German, but I'm her favorite student anyways.
