what is initial D?

Right now, Auto Modellista (MArch, pplz!) will b the closes to American Initial D PS2 game, its got downhill on a few initila d courses plus the normal set of japanese cars. Also in March: Initial D: Special Stage for PS2 in Japan, It's a port of Initial D: Arcade STage with a bunch of new crap!! Get yoru ps2's modded and get ready!
 
yup!you're so right Spidey!Initial D - Special Stage comes out to the Japanese PS2 consoles on March 27th,along with Soul Caliber 2,coming to the states!Devil May Cry 2 is scheduled to come out on January 7th,but it may be subjected to change ^_^,nooo!Dante!ah...I've got Auto Modellista,I can wait =P!Spidey,go to the Rumble Strip,then check out my thread called,"what did you get for Christmas?" and check out MY LIST!I got Auto Modellista with other REALLY cool games!I'm trying right now on Auto Modellista,to edit my AE86 into an AE86 (Shigeno Version) model,or a proto type,or maybe..like the one from Battle Gear 2,the Mecha Tune!but all I have to work with right now is paint and some other different parts,so I can't put a carbon fibered hood on it yet,that's why I just painted the hood (or as they so call,Bonnet) solid black and left the rest of the car Panda colored ^_^.I really like that game though!it's sooooo cool!!!you get a boost feature also!so when you hit over 145 to 160 Km/h,these lines begin to whip right by your car,as if you're going at a REALLY fast speed!it looks sooooo awsome!almost like the warp speed thing,only,without all the colors,it's just air deflecting off of car from going so fast I believe.but anyways,if you have any questions about this game Spidey,then please feel free to PM me and we'll talk about it ^_^,but remember to check out my thread in the Rumble Strip called,"what did you get for Christmas?" to check out my totally insane list!!!!

COOL!!! I have one question right now, I didn't have time to figure it out when last I had it, but, did you figure out how to drift? Too different

Well sure it's pretty exciting, the first couple of times. My main beef with Initial D is really lack of variety... or plot... but other than that it's pretty good.
 
Spidey - what game are you referring to?Battle Gear 2,Auto Modellista,Wangan Midnight,Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva,Initial D for the playstation?which one out of them are you talking about?sorry,I got confused ^_^,oh well,you'll refresh my memory ^_^,started playing Legaia 2: Duel Saga today by the way!it rules!!

yeah,you might need to download what I use to watch mine with..and that's DivX Alpha 2.0.they might have it at www.Divx.com,but I'm not sure,cause I haven't been there in ages.or....you could open it up in Windows Movie Maker =D!that's what I did while watching the last part of the Second Stage episodes =P.the picture would come up,but no sound would pop up,so I'd put it in Windows Movie Maker and it'd play both ^_^,good program!but only available to the ones who have Windows ME,2000,and other kinds,but I know XP doesn't have it,so...if you have XP,then you'd just be better off downloading the DivX codec..although you'll probably need it anyways =P,hehe

Goddammit! AE86Driver, can you drift in Auto Modellista? I haven't been able to thus far, even if I set it to "drift" in the quick settings category. sheeyit, stop making me repeat myself
 
well Spidey,yes you can Drift on that game,sheesh =P.I've drifted on the Akagi Downhill Challenge before...what's your problem anyways?sorry,just thought I'd ask

I played auto modellista today :) Played that downhill course with the AE86.
 
which one?Akagi?that one's a fun course,but I like the Shinjuku A Course and Shinjuku B Course as well though =D,so far,I've got my AE86 Mecha Tune to go 209 Km/h!so I usually blow the rest of the competition away,with them and there cheap looking one or two striped cars =P,they look weird ^_^.does anybody know what that [Secret] course is below the Shinjuku B Course on Arcade Mode???I still haven't unlocked it yet =P.I'm too busy with the different leveled championships,hehe.

nah, i've watched it and loved it as well. well, only first and 3rd stage, but i'm getting around to the rest of the stages! u guys have ur ps2 modded so u guys can play Auto modellista? how much do those mods cost?. . .i mite pick one up to play that new initial D game comin for ps2. i cant wait for the real Auto Modellista to come out so i can race with people ONLINE. w00t, that will be great!
 
well...me,I don't have my PS2 modded,I just went ahead and bought a Japanese PS2,and still kept my American one =D,hehe.I was gonna get my PS2 modded to play Japanese PS1 and Japanese PS2 games,but I was like,nah,it'll be more benificial to buy just the whole Japanese PS2 ya know?so yeah,I just went ahead and bought a Japanese PS2.I have the following games that'll work on it at this moment ------

Initial D (PS1)
Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 (PS1)
Dragonball GT Final Bout (PS1)
Battle Gear 2 (PS2)
Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva (PS2)
Auto Modellista (PS2)

P.S. not too bad of a collection so far,but the Japanese PS1 games,I've had way before I got my Japanese PS2,cause I have a converter for my PS1 that allows me to play imports ^_^,hehe
 
Naw, I don't know anything, but if i hear something i'll be sure to keep this board updated. Battle Gear 2 and Drift Champ...sounds fun. For 4th Stage I hope they use the book's battles-more Honda's, another Skyline, and Ryosuke's ex girlfriend driving one of the coolest RX-7 FD's I have ever seen, against Keisuke, no less!
