I cant even explain it. what is happening to my desktops? The things circled in red? Its not my monitor doing this, and I'm not overclocking my video card. Hell i cant even explain these things, ghosting? (and yes i am using the latest drivers, etc...). Out of nowhere, They Appeared!

Um...I see nothing out of the ordinary. The areas inside the red circles look just like the pattern does outside of the red circles.

What are you seeing?

Your Serious None of you can see the slight ghosting to the right of the Firefox window, and context menu?

Edit:
Ok heres another view then

It’s probably your monitor, because the first screenshot looks absolutely normal (obviously, physical monitor problems aren’t going to show up in screenshots).

Yeah its your monitor, its either on the brink or its getting interfered by geomagnetism, have you got any highly magnetized or electrical stuff around it?

Try degassing it or fiddle around with the alignment settings..

It could also be the theme your using.. small chance but still worth going back to XP style to see if theres still any ghosting..

Also, is it CRT or LCD?

I had a similar issue to this on an older computer I had. My instance was much worse than yours though.

I wasn't the monitor I was using, as I tried three different monitors (finishing with an LCD) and they were all the same. At the end of that computer's life, it was running on a KVM switch and the other computer (using the same monitor obviously) didn't give the same effect.

I believe it was/is the video card causing the problem. I never did get it fixed though so I'll never know for sure.

Its an LCD, 22" Acer P221w, and less than three, maybe four, months old.

Although now that ferrari_chris mentioned it, i did have it hooked up to a KVM switch, and I really didn't need to have it hooked up anymore as the other comp it was running to hasn't been turned on in a few weeks now. Which upon unpluggin it the Ghosting is alot less noticable, but I can still see it faintly.

I've also had a talk with the computer suprvisor where i work( and Bought it) and he said he'll exchange it out if it becomes worse.
