What is the best and easiest drift car on gt5

I've got a Merc SL55 with 800hp, a wing and a hideous paintjob which does ok. It's big trump cards are a relatively long wheelbase, bulk torque and an auto (which I use the paddles to control). The auto is nice because it slurs the shifts rather than pausing between gears like a manual-transmission-equipped car would, meaning you can upshift or downshift where required to maintain wheelspin in longer corners. The long wheelbase makes it more stable and predictable (IE less twitchy when sliding).

It may not be the best (nor is it Asian or indeed "mad-tyte JDM y0"), but it is a very easy car to learn drifting in.

I think the TVR speed 12 is also a clever one for you to drift with because most of the entry for drift trial competitions do use the car worn with stiff slick tyres... :D

I'm sorry but, this thread again??? How many times is this same question going to be asked and duly locked? My only response to the question is use a search function, you'll find many an answer to your question.

If it's that bad, report it. No need to harsh our mellow, man.

Jenesen Interceptor with Racing Soft.
This car is not meant to do anything since it's not as slow as it's looking, it's not gripping as it should and it's not making people laugh when you drive past them with it's 712BHP.
It's the troll car of my choice and it's a potent drifter without major suspension setup (only setting I change is the toe so it's 0.12 instead of 0.20).
It has to have the same tires front and back obviously (in case people still use the old GT5P drift methods).

I remember seeing a show on TV where they took the new Pontiac GTO and turned it into a drift car to compete with some of the best Japanese drifters. The show covered everything from choosing the GTO, the build, and then finally the competition. It didn't beat the Japanese guys, but I think it had a bit to do with the experience difference between the drivers.

I was impressed with a Maserati GranTurismo S on comfort softs, surprisingly easy.
I'd go with a C5 Corvette Z06 or a S13 Silvia on Comfort hards though.

Stock - my Monaro is incredible easy to drift.

Tuned - my Renault 5 Turbo is also easy to drift, but is also 10x more enjoyable.

This is coming from someone who is a complete novice at drifting.

How about the Pontiac GTO? It's a powerful FR car, is it any good for drifting?

Personal favourite of the moment is this little beauty, the premium Mustang.

Detuned to 650bhp and fitted with the semi race exhaust for sound, this was my first test of the tune.

The snake33
I tried the Citroen road car and it drifted great
With a good tune it is good. I used to drift it when I was drifting on DS3 a long time ago. I wouldn't say it is a easy car/good starter car to drift though.
GTV0819
The Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo might be good at drifting. I haven't try it, though.

Pretty good car. Once again I wouldn't say it is a easy car/good starter car.

I've been told my Stratos tune and my TVR T350C tune make for easy drifting...

A bit meaningless to me though as I can't really drift. :p

Well, there really isn't a best drift car (Yes I am the one to say that). But I know what you mean. I use some of the S2000's, the Supra, the Infiniti Coupe Concept (Yes it does work well, with barely any tunes.). Just go buy cars, test em out, tune them up, and see what your favorite is. I don't like to stick with the same drifter though, so I usually have different cars everyday. Just go and buy any car you think seems interesting, preferably is NOT 4WD, and test it, see what you think. If you can tune cars, you can make it much easier to drift. (I clearly didn't take time to edit this:dopey:)
