What is the best drag car?

What is the best drag car? I have a budget of 5mil and will find my own tune, just need help finding the right car. Please help.

Its ok, I've realized that its not the GT-R I dislike, its the people who pay too much to the phone company and have a false sense of success in their ability to tune. Because if that person were to put up their speed test time, it would be a joke... but of course that type of person is also they type that hates on the speed test or makes excuses.

Yeah I realized that a car with a lot of potential is the R8 5.2, and the Mustang Mach 1. The Mach 1 can haul in the tunnel in ssr7. The R8 is just fast
 
The Mach 1 can be a dangerous weapon provided you know how to tune.

I believe that Bugatti Veyron is the best drag based on times!!!

The power difference only is the biggest pain in the ass of GTRs and others.
If we had a GTR with 1274HP like Veyron it would be the First 7sec car in GT5

I also disagree with the PTK list. the buick special is a bit quicker i find... just my personal opinion.

My friend and I enjoy ignoring the lists and just picking a random PP limit or HP limit and finding the best car we can. takes us ages going through random cars until we find an outright winner. Our latest was 576PP which is when I discovered the buick... lol

P.S. Werty, do you mind if i put your fast whale quote in my sig? i'll reference it to you, I just think it's hilarious

Its not my list. Also the list would be assuming that all cars are tuned to the max and that would be their rank on the list. And after looking at the list, that's exactly where I would put it...
 
There can be only one answer: Bugatti Veyron
Definitely the fastest car in the 5 Million range. If 400m, 1/4mile, 1000m, 1mile or even 3000m, no other car in this price class can keep up, no chance.

Even the 10'000m topspeed run is dominated by the Veyron (street cars), only a X1 or a (well tuned) Toyota GT-One can beat it.

yeah my veyron can go 298 mph without drafting...with drafting i'm not so sure...

X1: Over 340mph, but can't remember the exact number.
Toyota GT-One: 314.8mph
Bugatti: 302.4mph

These are the fastest speeds I've seen so far.
