Well I would probably have to say the FD Twin Turbo, with
280 hp and a 50/50 weight balance it is hard to beat.

SO check off the poll or if its other then click the button and say which car and why.

There is no best drifting car. It's all a matter of preference.
My personal favorites are the 180sx and the Silvia (s13, s14, s15...all good).

I'll take the Trueno, first its the cheapest of the bunch, plus its easy to drift because of its weight distribution. Not to mention the parts are dirt cheap.

As Ethix said earlier, there is not a "best" drift car. Its all personal preference, since each car has its ups and downs. Like the AE86, IT has probably the best power-to-weight ratio out of them all, but it cant match the speed and power of the FD. The FD is great for drifitng, but since its a turbo, its harder to drift than the AE86. The S15 is an all around great drift car, and the same iwht the rest of the silvias and the 240SX. MR2 I say is too unstable to really be a great drift car, thats why you dont see many drifters using them. Now the skyline, the GTR wouldnt be all that great because of the ATESSA AWD system, but a GT-T RWD is one hell of a drift car, but is still has the same disadvantage as all the onther skylines, its heavy as hell, but very stable. And the supra is another all around good drift car, but the power-to-weight ratio is kinda high for drifting IMO. And as vanishing boy said, the trueno rocks because as he said, is cheap! you can go pick one up for 1000$ maybe cheaper, and its one of the best cars for drifitng ever...

No way, the McLaren F1 is where it's at. This thing is supposedly the greatest thing with 4 wheels to be ever built, it has to be the most awesome-est drift car out there.

Actually a F1 wouldnt be all that much of a drift car for a couple of reasons 1) The power to weight ratio is to high, theres is too much power for thatlight of a car to drift. Youd either spin it around or blow the engine for keeping it as so high of revs. 2) The suspension and frame were designed to go in straight lines and take tuns and high speeds, not drift. 3) Why would you drift it anyway? I guarantee u that the F1 would go throguh a turn a hell of a lot faster than a car doing a drift. But that doesent mean it cant be done, ive seen people drifting lambo Mercilago's before, and their body and suspensions are almost identical....

If you're a good driver you would be able to hold a drift in any car.

But seeing as most of the drift community anywhere are unable of doing that, they just settle for the cars that are easy.

I make no sense.

Thats not completely true. If you have the skills, maybe you can, but some cars just wont drift, and you cant really hold a drift in a FWD car either.

Nissan Silvia S15 it's THE best drift car. it was rated number one drift car by some of the top drifters in J-land. if i remember correctly the other drift cars picked s14,S13, Skyline GTS-T, Skyline GTR r34, Chaser and the FC RX-7.

Dunno where u got yur info from, but last time I heard the #1 most used drift car in japan is either the 180SX or some kind of SilEighty (such as signals S15/180SX twin drift cars) but hey, i could be wrong

well yeah if your talking about most used the 180sx is the #1 car used to drift. but the best drift car for sure goes to the S15 with 250ps under the hood of a car this size i dont see why not.

you are all so ****ing dumb its just like, what? this is probasbly the 800th thread of fools talking about **** they know nothing about.
