McLaren F1, according to the race series ;)

But I've heard a lot of good things about the aforementioned Volvo.

I was going to say "458 Italia" for the same reason. I don't know WHY it let me enter that car in the Euro Hot Hatch series, but it did. Don't even remember why I tried it; I was just shocked it let me.

I hated the C30. Coarse, piggy, understeering, engine sounds crappy and brappy. Like the Golf V GTI much better, but that's just me, I'm sure.

On this subject, has anyone done any serious game miles in the Focus RS yet? I'd be interested in opinions on it if so. Please don't bother if you've only done 1 lap on HSR or something.

It's featured heavily in 2 seasonal events so far and having driven one in RL I know it's good.

Been looking out for it in UCD but no joy so far....

The Mk1 Focus RS from the UCD is a beast. I've done plenty of laps on the ring in mine, comfortable low 7 minute laps and I've had guys in 458's, Gallardos, R8's you name it trying to keep up and failling miserably. My favourite FWD car on the game, funnily enough my good mate has one in RL, running about 240bhp at the mo, soon to be 340-380bhp, we're taking our cars to the ring in RL in the summer.

Mk4 Golf R32 is good too. PD clearly didn't replicate the Haldex 4WD system very well as it's very neutral to drive, and feels very nimble.

I've got an Alfa 147 GTA to play with now. I'd like to try the Ibiza Cupra but havent seen one in my UCD yet.

👍 Thanks for that. I'm keeping an eagle eye on the UCD.

By the way, my RL experience of the car tells me 240bhp is about as much as you might want in it. Torque steer seems to become a pretty serious issue above that amount. Without wanting to hijack the thread, any consideration been given to dealing with all that power through the fronts? How is he aiming to achieve it? I'm guessing bigger turbo etc?

Why bother with opinions? It costs peanuts from the UCD so just buy it when you have the chance.

Going OT here but it's in response to the quote..

Both of us drive reasonably powerful fwd cars - mine is about 190bhp (and 1050kgs) and his was RR'd at 240bhp (and about 1250kgs) and never found torque steer a problem. We both run sticky road tyres and have slightly tweaked suspension though, personally I think torque steer is really overplayed :) he'll crack the 300+bhp with a hybrid GT25 turbo, new manifold, front mount intercooler and another ECU map. Quite common mods in the Focus RS scene :)

Bmw 120d 👍

+1

I've got mine tuned to Minimum weight and 305Bhp, I'm running a series to those specs soon so have been hosting lobbies with those restrictions.

It's funny to see the ammount of people who leave a lobby after they've been overtaken by my whistling oil burner LOL
