Are there any differences between the two? Which one is faster?

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the old ones have active suspension.

The newest one should be the fastest. I don't see why they would do a new one that's slower?

I don't think the 3.3x.xxx at the nordshliefe set by one of the old ones has been broken yet?

That's what I thought, but the x11 has more pp in the dealership than the x14.

By x11 do you mean the x2011 yes?

The 2010 and 2011 are both fan cars. The latter an evolution of the former, and the 2014 a further evolution.

The 2014 series is the first to have the Jr and standard (non fan, conventional downforce)

I love the three grades.

I get my mates to have a go with the Jr, then if they're any good the next two.

Most of my mates are pretty amazed when they see me pilot a standard round the nordshliefe with minimal mistakes. (an hour of flat out runs, trying to get a decent time down, makes it much easier when running at 8/10ths, and it's still shockingly fast even at a semi-pace.)

My reactions are not quick enough to get the fan car round without atleast one, big, death inducing accident.

Massively rewarding to get right.

I need more practice with the fan car to be consistent.

The X2011 has more PP because it has more bhp than the X2014 FC.

And the X2014 FC is supposedly got more aerodynamics than the X2011 which is not calculated into the PP in GT6, so it's possible that the X2014 is faster than the X2011 but I don't think it's been tested.

HAHA thats where I'm at, I start doing amazing, get ready to shout "I'm doing it mommy, I'm doing it" then BOOM face meets wall at 250-300mph

The X2014 would be better than the X2011 if it didn't have considerably less power (1253bgp vs 1634bhp for the X2011). The X2014 no doubt handles better, but for me it isn't enough to make up for the loss of 381bhp.

After I won the 2014 X fan car I took it to route X, it didn't beat my 2011 X proto's speed of 532km/h. It probably has more downforce but IIRC around 400hp less.

I've taken both '11 and '14 Fan on several tracks... the '11 is faster properly tuned on VERY long straights, however the '14 has more downforce via enlarged wing, essentially a fin going down the back to prevent unwanted side-to-side movement, better aerodynamics and an improved fan with emphasis on rear suction... So in other words the 2014 Fan works much better on most tracks... (similar to comparing the 787B Stealth to the Minolta) I'll take control over top end speed anyday!!!:D

Meh, I already have the x11,and the fan car isn't woth the frustration of clearing the events, or the 6,000,000 for the dealership just for improved handling

Ive compared the 2010 vettle against the 2014 fan car & found the fan car much easier to handle than the manic 2010 car. Its way less twichy & bacause the outputs reduced its less errratic through & out of corners. Its still very fast & lap times are very close to the older cars.
If there ever was an enduro for these cars I'd take the 2014 car hands down.
