what is the fastest f1 car

is the ferrari f2007 the fastest or is the polyphony digital f1 car the fastest? i dont just mean top speed i mean handeling too. basically what is the best overall.

The PD F1 is 5m and the F2007 is 8m. Save your money and buy the F2007, it has better grip. I bought the PD one first and regretted cause it slide all over the place.

The Ferrari is slower and more expensive.

The Polyphony Digital F1 is faster and bit more difficult to initially master as it's default toe settings are 0/0. If you change them to match the F2007's default toe settings, you'll see it handles just as well as the Ferrari.

PD F1 - hands down the fastest F1 car in this game.

Easy to do in an ad-hoc race.

Doubt you could get the AI in both cars in a single race in single player though.

It might be possible if you give the PD F1 less 'grippy' tires. Try R2's on the PD. If, after about ten attempts, you don't get the F2007 to show up, you should try R1's on the PD F1. Not sure if it would work, but that would give you the best chance to see them both at the same time without doing an Ad-Hoc race.

The F2007 has over twice the amount of downforce as the PD FGT. And it has much bigger tires for much better grip. The PD FGT's steering response is in the dumpsters, and it handles awfully. I've tried to improve bad handling cars before, and I succeeded with the Veyron, but this is unfixable. However, it is very quick, quicker than the F2007 and has a top speed of 220mph, to the F2007's 215mph. For a track with lots of straights and not much tight corners where you need downforce, the FGT is faster, but for racks with many corners, like Monaco, F2007 all the way.

You can. I think all you have to do is to equip your F2007 with R3's

Actually the PD F1 is my favorite car in the game, but I have to admit its really bad compared to the F2007.

Steering is so hard with the PDF1, it feels like that the car is sliding all over the street. It oversteers alot if you don`t have a decent throttle control. And it understeers alot if you can`t cope with the bad steering settings.

But it makes alot of fun

The PD F1 is faster, but much harder to drive. The F2007 is just a tad slower but much easier to drive. So for most people the F2007 is faster.
